In summary

Deer Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, scenic layout, and friendly staff. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with a variety of practice facilities and amenities. However, some visitors have noted issues with course navigation, slow pace of play, and a cashless payment policy that may inconvenience some players.

For $48 this is a great Golf course. The greens are in wonderful shape and the fairways are outstanding! I would highly recommend the food that they serve as well, especially the chicken salad sandwich. All the staff was very professional and I would recommend this golf course to anyone that wants to have a great overall experience. 👍

First time playing here, went to play based on a recommendation by a friend and enjoyed the round. It's a cashless place, except for tipping. Probably could use some better markings as we have a twosome behind me that ended up getting on the wrong hole, luckily I was with someone who's played the course before. Sounds like they will be redoing the course layout and adding a housing development.

Very well maintained course, especially in November. I only played the front nine, but it was a great layout and easy to navigate and find the next hole. Soft green greens and well kept rough and fairways. Winter rate nine hole $25 domestic beer $3.50.

Played it for the first time today and thought it was a really amazing course. Challenging but not over the top difficult. Beautiful lay out and amazing scenery and wasn't to busy so we could casually play

One of my favorite courses local to Indy. Medium difficulty overall. Large greens. Well kept. Great driving range, chipping practice area & practice green. One area of improvement I’d recommend is better signage guiding players to the next hole. It get’s a little confusing at some spots. For example: Hole #6 to #7 & #7 to #8 is very misleading/confusing. Same can be said for #11 to # 12, & #13 to #14. Better directional signage & cart path arrows would mitigate this.

No Cash. 9 holes only due to outings 2 hours before events. Pricy for a so called wanna be country club. Better and cheaper in Indianapolis and rest of Hendricks county golf courses.

The "new" image they're attempting to create is going in the opposite direction of "growing the game" and the new age of golfers. The game is growing, and you have many young people getting involved. I understand not wanting people out there in tank tops, denim, etc...But to require a "collared" shirt is just goofy. Golf is about comfort, and even the PGA Tour allows players to wear sweatshirts. Hoodies and crewnecks. And the guy said "hats must be worn appropriately..." What?.. If I can beat 90% of the golfers that play that course, I will wear my hat backwards if I choose to. I usually don'…

I have really enjoyed playing here over the years. Even with the drought this year it's still in excellent condition! I really hate to see such a beautiful course being destroyed to build a country club course! There may be additional amenities at the new development but it will certainly lose the natural beauty and affordability of the present course. Enjoy it while you can!!

So glad we chose this course. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape, greens had lots of slight undulations which was a plus. Bunkers were excellent also. Tree lined Fairways made it very scenic. Staff was friendly and very helpful, it has a driving range and practice trap

Played a best ball tournament today and it was the worse I've ever experienced. Course was pretty rough cart paths are dilapidated and the layout of the holes is just horrendous 😕😳 Had probably over a hundred people attending and it is majority opinion the staff spent a lot of time trying to rush us along to get the public back on for a few extra bucks on the day. This group has been playing at deer creek for years in the past on Fridays so we won't be going back Friday or Saturday if we have our way..
