In summary

Crane Lakes Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with numerous water hazards, and friendly staff. The club offers a variety of amenities, including a pro shop, restaurant, and recreational facilities, all set within a scenic 55+ community. While most visitors report positive experiences, there was an isolated incident involving a negative interaction with a staff member, which contrasts with the generally welcoming atmosphere.

Wonderful atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We played Christmas Eve and didn’t realize we were playing shotgun start. Starter politely informed us and let us know where we were starting. Course was in great condition for this time of year and we had a great day. Randy the staff member caught us on one hole and told us how to play it. Shorter distance course plays set up for members in the community. Makes sense the range limits you to 230 yards bc the course doesn’t play long. Definitely liked the challenge.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this course. It was excellently kept and the layouts were challenging but fair. Every single hole was a joy to play. The course flowed well and even as a solo with big groups in front of me I was done within about 3 hours. The pro shop had fair prices and the employees were all very kind. Literally zero complains at all. Thank you guys, I will see you again!

I called for a last minute tee time and the lady Sue at the pro shop was very nice over the phone. I was on the course within 20 minutes, the greens and fairways were in excellent condition. The bunkers and surrounding areas were well manicured. It's a short but challenging course, you will use every club in your bag playing strategically for good ball position. I recommend this course for people that want a challenge. If you want to bash driver on every hole this is not the course for you.

My friend and I were looking for a new spot to try and we ended up here for brunch on Mother's Day. I had the chicken cavatappi and she had blackened salmon. The residents and staff were really friendly and our service was quick and attentive. There's a cute map to pin your hometown and see where all the visitors are from. The Mediterranean chicken soup was delicious as was everything else we tried. Next time we'll save room for dessert.

What an awesome place to live. Their bar and restaurant is under construction and won't open till October sometime. Many other amenities like 2 heated pools, jacuzzi, pickleball and tennis courts, shuffleboard, Baci ball. The landscaping over the entire complex is beautiful and well kept. Our golf course is professional and many PGA tournaments are held here.

Very well maintained, fairly short course. Difficult to overpower , must make some accurate layup positions to avoid water everywhere.Greens we're perfect! 8 par 3's from 100 to 200 yards.
