In summary

The Preserve at Turnbull Bay is appreciated for its friendly staff, interesting course layout, and driving range amenities, including ball tracking technology and evening accessibility. However, many visitors express concerns about the current condition of the greens, which are often described as poorly maintained, and the overall course upkeep, which some feel does not justify the price. Ongoing construction and customer service issues have also been noted by several patrons.

The website made it look like it was in great shape. They’re clearly doing a lot of work (new clubhouse area being built) and the staff was friendly but the course was terrible. Greens were aerated so there was no true roll after driving the ball. Greens had little to no grass so they weren’t true and super fast so a normal par was usually a double bogey. If I were them I’d give a major discount right now just to tell your patrons you’re working on it. We gotta support our public courses but sheesh.

Course was in ok shape. Decent layout without any holes running next to each other. Tee boxes need a lot of help , fairways were brown but that’s from dormant grass and the greens didn’t have a ton of grass on them but they did roll true. Not sure it’s worth $70 right now. Staff was very friendly though.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLAYING HERE! Course is in simply horrible shape. More like a cow pasture. Greens are rated as a 1 due to weed growth, very bad scratches by some type of equipment, and it being impossible to hit a putt without it wobbling. Tees were not level and were pitted all over. Fairways were dead bermuda which is a given at this time of year, but they have never put in a thick first cut that would keep any type of a wayword shot that was not going very fast to be immediatly lost in the thick bushes. Added to these issues was theiraudacity to charge full rate $69 for the right to…

First, my compliments for the recent and pending upgrades to include a building for carts and paving cart paths. But you need to forewarn people that they will be dodging asphalt trucks, men working and playing from temp tees BEFORE the round starts. Plus many of the greens need a lot of work. It also doesn't help when you put a slow fivesome on the course. The layout is good and the future looks promising. But the current state of play is unacceptable as reflected by today's rating. Today's round was a waste of time and money for me and my friends.

Course layout was good, staff was very friendly, Greens we're in terrible shape for playing in the spring, we just picked up and added 2 strokes for the greens. A lot of construction, currently building a new clubhouse. Not worth the price, more like a $30 course.

The course has potential but it’s a bit of a wreck for the price. Every green is still recovering from someone’s error with fertilizing in the past year or two. Please invest in some half way decent rentals. A mix match of Walmart Strata’s and DCI’s from 1993 aren’t very great to receive to play with when you’re on vacation. Staff was friendly. Carts are nice. Layout is fairly interesting.

I completely agree that the layout of the preserve is challenging, the staff is friendly, but the conditions Of the greens are among the worst In Volusia County as of February 22, 2016. Large patches with no grass, small weed bombs growing between your ball in the hole. I would not suggest paying the $75 fee at this time.

Major clubhouse renovations have been made at this fun course. Ball tracking technology at the driving range. Recommend playing in the Sunday skins league. $40 per player and an extra $10 to the pot for solo birdy holes and CTP. Food and drink options available.

This is our favorite driving range in NSB! The course is stunning too, especially if you like an isolated and wild Florida vibe! The lounge furniture, shade and fans make it an easy place to bring our kids so the entire family can practice. It is well lit at night and they have all kinds of specials.

Lady made me pay $10 more booking a round in person instead of simply booking online and saving money. She was very sarcastic and rude. Greens were awful in addition to all of this. Was not worth the overprice of putting on extremely sandy greens either. Disappointing and it makes sense now why they aren’t featured on GolfNow

Great golf course and driving range. Very challenging for the amateur golfer. Lots of water and tight greens. If you're in the area don't sleep on this hidden gem.
