Hidden Lakes Golf Club

I play with a fairly large group (36 - 44) every Wednesday, mostly at Volusia County courses. Of the at least six course we play the tee boxes and greens at Hidden Valley are in the best shape of any course, and the fairways up there too. Also has a nice club house. Yes, the course is a bit short (lots of par threes), and one hole (from the whites) has a forced carry over the water, but still a nice day in a generally well laid out course. Look forward to going back.

Awful experience today. I am not a good golfer (15 handicap) and I just went to practice on the new Top tracer range and was confronted twice about hitting a few shots out of the perimeter. If I could hit it straight every time I wouldn’t be practicing at hidden lakes as I would be busy on the PGA tour. The worker then claimed I was hitting it past the nets with my driver, which I am unable to carry the back net even with my best shot. I play here very often as I live local to new Smyrna but this is awful and nobody should be expected to never shank the ball while practicing.

Great price, very quiet, and in great condition. Well worth the visit.

The specials at the 19th hole have been fabulous. The grouper, the cilantro lime coleslaw tacos and ice cream sandwiches are amazing! It would be great to know when the specials are made! Kudos to your chef!

I'm visiting from out of state so I stopped in for lunch earlier today and I definitely wasn't disappointed, they had a brown butter portobello mushroom swiss burger on a toasted brioche bun that was to die for, hopefully they still have it next time I'm in town. Compliments to the cook, whatever they're doing they're definitely doing it right.

Went to celebrate a friend's 95th birthday. The staff was warm and welcoming The food was wonderful.

I heard someone talking about the food at hidden lakes so figured I'd give it a try and ordered a mushroom swiss burger to go before work and it was well worth it, the staff was friendly and very pleasant to talk to, everything was perfect all the way down to the seasoning on the fries, I don't think I've had a better mushroom swiss burger anywhere around here and the ice cream sandwich was awesome, the cooks are doing something right, I'll definitely be adding the 19th Hole restaurant to one of my lunch/dinner stops on my weekly bike rides.

I have to tell you. We go out of our way for the best fish and chips made with fresh haddock and Guinness beer batter! Tim is an amazing cook. Also if casadias are your thing he makes an awesome custom made. If your are there for golf or just stop in for a bite to eat you won't be disappointed..

The golf course was in great shape. In my opinion, the employees of the golf course were very rude to the group that was with me. We will find a different golf course to play on next time.
