In summary

Cliffside Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly and helpful staff, reasonable pricing, and a layout that offers both challenging and beginner-friendly options with scenic views. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as hard and patchy grounds, confusing layouts, and poor cart conditions. Despite these drawbacks, many find it a fun and relaxing place to play, especially for those seeking a laid-back golfing experience.

Had a great round here with my 9 yr old son. They are investing in this course again, and it was a pleasant experience. The Friday special made it a great deal. "Mom" in the clubhouse could not have been more helpful and friendly. The bottom 18 plays short but challenging with some really cool views. The top 9 is wide open and easy to play.

Great value for the money. There are no “real fairways” as they are basically mowed yard length grass. The greens are beautiful and well taken care of. For a country course, it plays really well. Back to back par 5’s on both sides is a little much. Especially on a hot day when you’re tired. I will continue to play this track.

Only played the top 9. $40 for 1 adult and 1 12 year old on a Saturday with cart.. Ground is so hard you can hardly get you tee in the dirt. They don't appear to water much but they keep the weeds mowed down. Layout, although narrow, is nice.

Played there yesterday. The grounds were very hard and patchy. The greens were fur-like. Pace of play was extremely slow. Golf Etiquette was not enforced and we never saw a Marshall out. No one allowed me and my playing partner to play through. Hole layout was horrible - never knew what green we were hitting on and the boundaries for that hole were not obvious. Tee boxes were not mowed, for what it looks like, up to 2 weeks, and the ground there was very hard to place a tee in. When I called to book a tee time the Pro Shop Attendant was very rude. Clubhouse was atrocious and when we asked if…

I had a great time playing this course, mainly because it's laid back. It can be hard to tell which green you are on, as the course layout can be confusing. Fairways were ok. Greens were in great shape. Could use a little work, they say it's bent grass fairways, I'm just not seeing it. I would play it again, but it's not going to be my go to course.

Going off what our mothers always told us. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" would be prudent. But folks want a review. Anyone giving this goat track more than one star hasn't played a decent course. Fairways were there in theory but nothing more than muddy hardpan with a few blades of grass scattered about. Forget hitting off of mowed grass. There is none. More roped off sections of ground under repair than actual playable ground. The rough was thinner than my yard after a drought even though we've had a wetter than normal Sept. Carts were horrible. Had to stomp the…

This has to be the worst place in the Miami Valley to golf. I always get a horrible cart, they will not go. Push the peddle and sit and wait for minutes at a time. I then get " Hey sir your going to have to hurry up or this is your last hole". Nice when I have to pay full price for 9 holes and the course is like playing on HARDPAN. Never ever will I go there again.

No fairways and everything is overgrown. Golf carts are hands down the best thing about this place! Our cart easily went over 20mph on flat ground!

Not the best maintained course in the area but you can't beat the prices. Can be challenging to walk especially in hot summer months. But dry conditions can mean longer shots.

Challenging !!!!!! To say the least. 18 on the bottom & 9 on top. Top is perfect for beginners but putting is challenging. Great place to golf and the price is very reasonable.

Hilly course with some challenging sloping greens. Great course for after work. Wonderful specials and friendly staff. It's in the middle of nowhere, so keep your eyes open for it
