In summary

Chippewa Golf Club in Curtice, Ohio, is frequently praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained course, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice among golfers. The course layout, featuring a creek that adds a strategic element, is appreciated, though some find the layout confusing. However, there are concerns about inconsistent course conditions, particularly with the greens, and occasional issues with customer service and course management.

I went to Chippewa Golf Club | Curtice this afternoon. It's an amazing golf course with great and friendly employees. You really can't beat the price for such a well-maintained spot. Definitely a hidden gem in the area. Located in Curtice, Ohio.

The greens, fairways and even the rough are in terrible shape!! This isn't something that can be fixed in a week...it will take months to repair so save your money and go somewhere else. There isn't a green that isn't ball marked, burned out or fungus issues. The tee boxes have to be rolled because it's hard to find a level spot. Far too much clover growing in the rough, so if you use a white ball, good luck finding it. And the course layout, let's be honest, how many times do you have a cart path cutting between a tee box and the fairway. I was obviously told a lie on the phone that the cours…

Great entertainment, Wolf Creek project! Comfortable atmosphere. There is no table service, but that's OK. Friendly staff. Brought chairs to sit outside. It was a very enjoyable evening.

The staff is really nice and the course layout is challenging. Tees and fairways are kept nicely mowed and the bunkers can be played out of which on a few courses isn't possible, so that was nice to see. 1 bigger problem is some of the greens need a lot of work so much so we needed to move a few so we could get around the rough spots on some of the greens. I would recommend playing this course and if some of the greens got cleaned up a lot more woukd travel out to the nice golf course that has been around for a long time for a reason.

Played this course in 2022, and then today (2025). We returned because it is a fun little track. Not very long, but the creek running through several holes on the course forces you to make some risk/reward decisions. I will say that the course has slipped a little in quality of the greens and fairways since 2022. Hope they are able to bounce it back a little. Was probably 4 stars in 2022 and 3 stars now.

I recently played at Chippewa Golf Course and have mixed feelings about my experience. The course itself is very nice, well-kept, and in good shape. It’s not extremely hard or long, but it’s a decent course that’s well-maintained and located in a pretty nice area. However, I had a less-than-pleasant experience when I called on Thursday night to make a tee time. The person I spoke with told me the computer was shut off and to call back tomorrow, then abruptly hung up on me. While I understand people have long days, it felt quite rude. When I showed up for my 3:15 tee time on Friday afternoon,…

I liked this course. Only thing I personally dont like on any course is crossing water before the green. And this one had a few holes like that

The course itself is very nice and well maintained. My only issue is the customer service. I've called a few times just to ask simple questions like are you allowing golfers out (because of wet weather) or are you allowing carts out today and have been treated very rudely on all occasions as if I am a child asking a ridiculously stupid question. If you can get past that, you will enjoy your time on the course.

This course is absolutely unplayable. I’m not sure what happened. Earlier in the season it was in beautiful shape and a pleasure to play. The poor conditions go way beyond the lack of precipitation we have received in NW Ohio this summer. There isn’t a green blade of grass to be seen anywhere on the course. Major changes in how the course is cared for will need to be made before I consider returning. Fortunately for myself and golf partner we used a punch card and didn’t pay for our experience. Other golfers on the course said the paid $27 for 9 and a cart. Save your money! I hope this course…

Stopped by for a round yesterday with my 10 year old son who recently took interest in the game. Course was in good condition, adequately priced, and the flow of traffic was fairly smooth for a busy weekend. What really sold us were the guys in the clubhouse. They had great attitudes and were cracking jokes with us like they’ve known us for years. All in all, a great experience for all ages and skill levels. We will be back!
