In summary

Capitol City Golf Club is frequently praised for its excellent course conditions, well-maintained greens, and accommodating staff, making it a popular choice among both seasoned and beginner golfers. The club offers a range of amenities, including a pro shop and restaurant, which are generally well-received, although there have been occasional service hiccups. Some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play and closely scheduled tee times, which can lead to a rushed experience on the course.

I thoroughly enjoyed my mid-May round at Capital City. The course was in great shape and offers excellent value for the price. Additionally, the staff members were incredibly friendly and professional. The only area that could use improvement is the pace of play, as better attention and enforcement would have enhanced the overall experience. That aside, it was a highly enjoyable day of golf, and I will definitely be back.

This course is in great shape all year round. It is maybe the driest course in the 50 mile radius. They have the best membership deal which includes a nice discount in the restaurant. $89 a year. The fees are good for a course of this caliber. The golf carts are newer, preform well and are always clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. There is a reputation of slow play but the play times are much better and the course aims for a 4hr 20min 18 hole round time. I think that they achieve that give or take by 15 mins most of the time. My wife loves they have potty stops on 9 of the 18 holes. 2,…

The course is fairly flat overall, so it’s easy to shoot a good score. I recorded my best score here, which makes it a very memorable course for me. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d love to play another round.

Fantastic! They've got putting, chipping, and long range practice, a hole 9 bar, wonderful pro shop, and nice employees 😀 The course was fun and beautiful, with perfect rolling greens and good bunkers, plus WIDE fairways and a good price. Recommended.

One of the best winter courses in the NW. For how much play they get it's truly impressive how great of shape it stays in. Restaurant and bar are also great. Highly recommend.

Love the entire facility. And the course is in awesome shape. Greens were really fast! We booked a late morning T time online, and could only book for 18 holes. We only wanted to play 9, but when selecting 9 holes, it shows none available. It really wasn't packed out, so seems unfair to REQUIRE paying for 18...

Im a beginner golfer and I’ve been here 3 times. Had fun every time, no complaints. Pricing is fair.

I think it’s the best all around course in the area. You would have to piece together the best part of 3 or 4 other courses in the area to beat it. Definitely the best course for winter play in the area

Absolutely love this place. Steve and his crew are top shelf. We've put on a golf tournament here now for 11 years (the Doug Beaulieu Memorial) and there's a reason we keep coming back. Cap City does the heavy lifting so our golfers can just have fun- before and after the event. The few times there's been a hitch, it's been fixed the next year. Just can't say enough good things about the crew, the course...all of it!

Unfortunately not great service. The server took our order and confirmed it all back to us. She came back with food that was not correct. Our friends order was a taco salad with no jalapenos and there were extra jalapenos. Another order was for medium rare steak salad and the steak was very medium. I ordered the blackened salmon and house salad. The salmon was pretty dry and extra spicy. We've been here a few times and had great service and food. We brought our friends here for their first time and unfortunately they weren't impressed. We later found out that we were charged for an extra soda,…

The course condition was excellent from tee to green. I have to say it was really nice to see bunkers with actual sand in them. So many in the northwest are far to rocky to play out of. Was paired up with two member, Richard and Chuck which were an absolute pleasure to play with. If I lived closer I would strongly consider becoming a member.
