The course offers a scenic setting without residential interference and provides ample practice facilities. Awesome fairways and greens. Very smooth and true! Keep it in the fairway though, rough will eat your lunch. 😅 Would definitely recommend!!

Such a well maintained public golf course. From the pro shop to the manicured course, this is by far one of the best values in the area. Large, NICE greens. Fairways are terrific and tee boxes. The layout is great, not the most challenging course, but greens can be deceivingly challenging. This course is worth a little bit of a drive. Great scenery with no houses on course. Kudos to maintenance crew with this course. Conditions are always top notch. Also, have played this course four times, a few times as a twosome, and have not encountered any pace of play problems.

Zoar Golf Club has been a "must play" for Northeastern Ohio & Western Pennsylvania golfers for 44 years! Google Reviewers give Zoar Golf Club 4.6 Stars. The club plays host each year to the Gatorade Collegiate, The Yuengling Scramble Series, the Zoar Memorial, the Zoar Senior Amateur, and several other amateur events. The course hasn’t changed much since being built. Check out their website and see the pictures from an original yardage book. If anything, holes have been lengthened to keep up with current equipment changes, Compare yardages with a current scorecard and you’ll see what I mean.…

Always in great shape. Nice layout with some challenging holes. One of my favorites. Nice pro shop with great deals on merchandise.

Our Women’s League absolutely love Zoar GC. The price is competitive and the fairways and greens are well kept. They also have a great staff (Tim, Payton, Paul, Joe). So sorry to see that Paul is no longer working there due to a bad review. How sickening that he’s not there now due to a couple bad reviews. Interesting that when most employers are begging for dependability Zoar can afford to let him go. It’s a good thing golf season is almost over.

This was our second trip to Zoar Village Golf Course. We thoroughly enjoy the course layout and upkeep. The holes are challenging and fun. We would have given it a higher rating except for the incredibly slow play. At every hole we waited 5 -10 minutes to tee off and then had to wait on each consecutive shot to the green. On more than half of the holes, there were three to four groups of players. We did see the ranger once but nothing was done to improve the pace of play. Perhaps a longer spacing between tee-off times would alleviate the congestion.

Played Zoar on 4/13/25! One of my favorite courses! Downside was they are already charging summer rates & the course was in poor condition...bunkers not edged/raked. Rough not cut...we had rain but ample time to mow. Should not be charging summer rates until course is completely ready!!!

Let me begin by saying that the fairways and greens are beautiful. The cart paths are a little rough on the back 9, but overall zoar is a great course with a nice range to practice. The bartender, Payton, is friendly and welcoming and im sure customers love seeing her. Unfortunately, the front desk worker of zoar, Paul, is the epitome of rude. I may be new to golf, but I am not new to customer service, and what Paul delivered was nothing short of a poor customer experience. We made it through 3 holes when massive strikes of lightning began regularly. We figured we would be called in because…

The course was in great shape. The Manager has done a great job since he has taken over. Hats off to him.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a golf course. Such a shame to be treated carelessly as a long term recurring customer. Zoar is by far my favorite course to play but not when it’s clear the guy scheduling tee times doesn’t want anyone to book a time. Gave me a tee time reluctantly then proceeded to hang up on me as I was trying to give him a name for the time. Very bad look for the course coming from the front office, the first people you interact with.

My favorite course. Great layout, friendly to play, great greens, great shape, nice range, great practice area, friendly staff. The only drawback can be some older large groups who play slow and think they own the course. I've never had anyone complain about me using a credit card...it might be a topic for discussion if somebody brings it up, but pretty much everyone pays on credit. And if your biggest complaint is the yardage markers at the range, then you know you have a five star course.
