In summary

Winston Trails Golf Club is often praised for its well-maintained course, enjoyable layout, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the unique Florida-style design and good amenities, including a driving range and restaurant. However, some visitors have noted issues such as slow pace of play, inconsistent course conditions, and occasional customer service challenges. Despite these concerns, the club remains a popular choice for both golf and events.

Winston Trails Golf Club is a great track with excellent course conditions and a really enjoyable layout. The design is challenging, with a unique touch of the sawgrass-lined bunkers that give it a distinct Florida style you don’t see everywhere. The fairways and greens were in fantastic shape and clearly well cared for. The only downside was the pace of play, which was noticeably slow throughout the round. Still, the quality of the course made it worth the wait. Would absolutely return for another round.

We had our mother‘s funeral reception here and the service was excellent. Last-minute request were promptly done with a smile and everyone was so nice. I definitely recommend this place for your event. Carolyn is so good and sweet. She helped us all the way through. The main chef did a very good job and was very enjoyable.

My partner played at Winston Trails while we were in town, and I decided to join as a rider. We had a smooth start when we dropped off the clubs with a young gentleman near the pro shop. However, things took a turn when we walked over to the carts. The club cart attendant was adamant that we had given him different clubs and was quite aggressive about it. I think there was some confusion since we flew in with our own clubs. After about 15 minutes of back-and-forth, someone finally returned to the clubhouse stating they had the wrong clubs, and coincidentally, those were ours. I was really hop…

Got to play Winston Trails on 12/5/25. Great day for golf. Booked my tee time with Golf Now, as a single player. Got checked in at the pro shop with very little greeting, just hello. No problems made my way to the range. Very Nice set up with the lights and outside seating and bar. Been a while since I've played Florida, make sure you know your carry distance, got paired up with a very fun group. So, the course not very long was in good shape. The greens a little different on the course than the practice putting green. There's a lot more slope on the course. So, speed is key to putting well. O…

Tried to find a last minute tee time and every course was booked besides this one. I was hoping I just got lucky but turns out there’s a reason. The price was typical for an afternoon tee time, but jeez I was expecting a track in a gated community to be this bad. Tee boxes beat up, fairways were blah, greens were soft but there are dirt lines on the perimeter of each green. I don’t know what’s going on with this course. If you absolutely need to play and just want to get out on the course then by all means just know you’re getting ripped off and keep expectations low.

I had never played this course before today and overall had a great time. We were paired with a really nice man who played very well. The design is challenging with well placed bunkers and plenty of water. The restaurant employees were friendly although it was empty The reason I’ll probably never play there again is the course conditions do not support the greens fee; it’s seen better days. A goat would starve on the fairways. This could be a gem but I’ve played public courses in Palm Beach county the are in far better shape for less$$.

Most of the rough area is just weeds not Bermuda. Greens, bunkers and fairways nice. Greens were too firm though they don’t hold approaches , they are too fast too u barely hit the ball and it goes way past on downhillers. Almost like cement

Very nice golf course. Very well maintained. Can't beat it on a nice cool day. Has a small snack shack where they sell soda and beer asking with hot dogs and other snacks. Associates in the pro shop are nice and helpful. There is also a driving range, practice putting green and a chip shot section. It's located within a gated community but it is open to the public. Overall nice experience.

Played the course last week and had an amazing time. The course was in great shape and the staff was very nice. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Pretty bad track, not well maintained. Greens are soft but there’s a moat around every green which makes it difficult to put off greens. It feels like it’s under construction. Not worth the money, they’re charging north of $80 during season but the course feels abandoned. Go to park ridge, Atlantic, Atlantis, the links, basically any local course is better to be honest. I remember coming here over summer and calling in advance to book a tee time, they happily took my money without giving me any notice of the course conditions like most do when they’re doing maintenance on greens. They literall…

Rude, disrespectful staff and a sad driving range did not make up for a descent course. From the starter to the assistants to the pro shop staff, everyone seemed to have an air that we were fortunate that they were allowing us to golf at their club. I don’t need to pay to be demeaned and barked at! No one greeted us at the bag drop and no carts were near. Once we carried our bags to the back, we were ignored in the pro shop. Once past that hurdle, we came across a dirt field with posts as targets for the driving range. Yikes, not what I pictured. We won’t be back.
