In summary

Wild Bluff Golf Course is widely praised for its stunning views, well-maintained fairways and greens, and challenging yet enjoyable layout, offering a memorable golfing experience. The course's amenities, including state-of-the-art golf carts with GPS and impressive practice facilities, receive high marks, as does the friendly and helpful staff. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional unfriendly staff interactions, and a few have mentioned mosquito problems affecting their experience.

Beautiful course, and very affordable with twilight rounds starting at 2pm for $50. The fairways were well taken care of and the greens while fast (10.5) were very enjoyable. Lots of trees, and a 20-30 second cart ride through the woods between each hole. Lots of elevation changes, but what a great course!

The course is situated on a natural bluff overlooking Waishkey Bay and Lake Superior and features deep and natural ravines with winding rivers and streams that border the Hiawatha National Forest. Most of the holes are situated on the bluff and offer tremendous views of the bay. You’ll find gently rolling terrain as most of the land on top of the bluff is relatively flat with undulation built into them. There are only a few holes that show the course’s natural elevation changes and luckily all of them play downhill. This beautiful parkland-style course features wide, Bentgrass fairways that a…

This course is awesome. Great golf carts. They include large screen GPS that keeps you informed of yardage, and every other thing imaginable, including a hole flyby every time you pull up to another hole. Staff and clubhouse were very nice. Course was pleasantly longer, full of character, and plenty of elevation changes. It was very well kept. Fairways, when I could hit them, were great. Rough was punishing where it needed to be, and the greens had a great speed and were delightfully undulated. There were a few times I would have thought the golf carts may benefit from being governed whil…

Awesome course with nice practice facilities. Has a laid back attitude. Well laid out course , with greens that are firm but accept approach shots very well. New favorite course!

Love this golf course! So pretty and well maintained. The staff are all amazing! Going there with 3 couples this weekend who have never been. Can’t wait to see what they think. I hope they love it as much as we do.

Played at the end of July. Course was in great shape. Great practice area. Staff was friendly and more than helpful with the bags. Woman in the starter shack/concession stand was very polite and helpful. Greens were great, tee boxes in good shape, I felt the course was difficult. Not crazy hard, but a good test of golf! I look forward to a return trip! Our 4some had a great time!

Awesome experience and course! Worth every penny. Older lady at the top was very rude, but the experience with us playing was great.

A beautiful gem of a course in the northern UP. Was in really nice shape with lush fairways and greens and the staff was marvelous - very personable. Beautiful views of Lake superior and some very interesting holes. Many long par fours of 420+ yards from the blue tees, this is a challenging course for even the long hitter. And the green fees are very reasonable.
