Place has a very good price and military discount which is awesome. Two cons is no driving range and too much tall grass. I understand courses have hazards but this one is not too forgiving when losing a ball. The grass when I went was about 3ft tall and very thick. Besides that nice course, not super beginner friendly but that’s not the courses fault.

How this goat track got 4.6 baffles me. The greens are ok but the course is a hot mess. The fairways are just the rough cut short and the ‘marsh’ is an omnipresent hazard bisecting the ‘fairways’. AVOID it’s unplayable.

I had a lot of fun playing this course. Very tricky, you'll want to have and app where you can plan your shots as there is a lot of water and marsh.

Very good little course; if you're a first time player, make sure you take your Garmin or GPS, lots of water, creeks, etc. The fairways were a little rough (hopefully this course will get sold, and a little more effort placed on the fairways). The green were very good. This course is very short; but makes you utilized many of the clubs in your bag. You need to have good shot placement.

Reasonable price $30 spring and fall, $36 during the summer season. Canadian money at par, provided that you pay cash. This applies both to green fees as well as the bar. You never need a tee off time, it's always walk on. As for the actual golf. Greens and fairways are maintained, but there are several holes with marsh rough. There are 3 holes on the front, and 1 on the back nine with frustrating forced carries over the marsh. That being said, I come every week or 2 because of the hassle free, relaxed atmosphere. There are no marshals and I never feel rushed. Scrambles held there are alway…

What an amazing team to work with! I can’t thank them enough for an amazing memorial fundraiser for Kathy and Michael Williams. Not to mention all of the people that came out to take part in the event. The course is beautiful and fun. We just need to bring more golf balls or improve our game. Lol

Its cheap and very casual. Carts are allowed off the path. The fairway isn't in the best of condition, its riddled with divots. No tee off times. Main complaint is that on hole one my friend and I were almost hit by the ball of a group who started on the wrong hole.

Fare price. Many mushy areas in the fairways. No. 1 has unplayable area that should be fairway extending from 150yds from the tee to 250 yds out (par 5). If it's under repair then they should say so at the pro shop. Shorten to a par3? They let a 7some out in front of us. Really? No tee times taken. First come first served is ok. But a group of 7. Ridiculous. Greens had been sanded. Slow. Wouldn't recommend.

My favorite course in town! Very well kept, and the holes are tricky but very doable for every level of skill. All sorts of wild life as well, this is why I love this game! Tanglewood you got things right!!

A uniquely tough golf course. No sand traps, but there are marsh hazards. Greens were better this year than they've ever been.
