Casual and Pure! What a treat to play 18 holes here. The course was challenging but forgiving, great for a casual round. Greens were impressive for their size and pure roll. Fairways, tees and rough were in great shape too. Outside the rough you could find a bit more dirt then usual but easy to escape and get back into play. The pro shop staff was friendly and the golf rate is unbeatable. $31 for 18 and a cart!! Will be back again. Thank you!

This course is beautiful! The staff was friendly and helpful, the course was in fantastic shape, pace of play was good... we're only here for another week, but we'll be back to play here again before we go! Love this place!

A Great Place to golf.

The back nine was good, fairway grass very long, needs a trim! The front nine had many roped off areas under construction and holes that were entirely roped off, no carts allowed. This made it very difficult for a person like me with mobility issues. I had to skip those holes.

Everything that you would expect playing the UP would be. From the great town name, to the many hardwoods and elevation changes The Oaks is a nice place to play. Small, true, lush greens are the rule. The course was a bit dry in fairways but I'll take a good roll any day! Price is right eh? Go play it.

This is a well maintained course, which is located not far from Sault Ste Marie, MI. It is very affordable for nine holes and a cart. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have snacks available for purchase inside. It is a great form of entertainment if you like to be outdoors.

Good course; very decent conditions; good price for the conditions. For first time players, make sure you have a Garmin or GPS; the scorecard never matched the tee-box sign. Fairways were a little overgrown; however the apron and greens were in great shape.

Great course, very well taken care of, fairways and greens were.like carpet. Challenging course but great for all levels.

Love the course especially for the price. A true hidden gem, great people and I'd highly recommend the pull pork sandwich at the restaurant. All around great experience
