In summary

Wedgewood Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and suitability for practicing short game skills, offering a basic 9-hole layout that is particularly appealing to beginners and those looking for a quick round. The course's relaxed atmosphere and friendly ownership are often highlighted positively. However, several visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, particularly the condition of the greens, and some have experienced service concerns at the clubhouse.

This place is barely a golf course. It plays more like a few holes in someone’s back yard. When it was $10 with a cart it was a great place to get a quick 9 in and practice with your irons. I learned today that it’s under new ownership and they raised the price to $25 (Cash only by the way)!! The greens aren’t really greens. They’re full of dollar weed and uncut grass. It just doesn’t make any sense to pay that kind of money when for $30 you can play Deer Island (which is one of the more beautiful courses in lake county). I really want places like this to exist and really want to support a sma…

A nice 9 hole course. It's not fancy, a great course for practise, or just play a quick round of golf. $10 cash for 9 holes with a cart. You can't beat the price!

Would give it a 0 if I could as sad as it is new owner has ruined it. It’s a small barely golf course with awful greens and no fairways. Do not ever prepay for this place either, not on Golf Now or directly through them as new owner will scam you and not let you play. I wouldn’t even pay there to play, find a better course.

Nice nine hole course for anyone wanting to improve their game but carts definitely need service. Several have absolutely no brakes and we've had some scary moments when heading down on slope and had to turn the wheel to stop the cart.

Nice little get your swing in course. Extremely reasonable price. $10 including the cart. Not a tour grade course by any means, greens need some TLC, tees need some TLC, but the layout is nice and the owner is extremely personable. Very nice place to get in your iron game.

Crappy little par3 9 hole course that actually has a few challenges and is very fun to play. Taking my son here to get some experience before tackling a longer course. Recommend for a quick 9 holes or practice round.

First time playing this course, great idea and I like to support local businesses, but the course is not an actual course, not maintained at all, twice I was in the wrong green, hard to find your way around, greens are impossible to putt, charged $15 - 9 holes, no cart!

Wedgewood is a good skill course not to get near homes to the side. I used a walk cart for exercise. Great learning how to read a map and not get lost, fantastic small rural course.

My wife and I were in the area and decided to play this course for the first time yesterday. Since it is a short 9, we decided to walk instead of renting a cart. A couple holes have large trees right in the middle of the approach which makes it challenging. The greens are covered with weeds, bumpy and slow. Others have mentioned that this is a good place to bring beginners. I disagree. My wife is still learning and occasionally will hit a second ball if the pace allows it. Even though no one was behind us and near the end of our round only one other player was on the course on #2, the owner ma…

Great place for beginners or to take the grand kids. A neighbor of mine who is a golfer referred to this place as a cow pasture. It's not quite that bad but if it's your first time here set your expectations low. Not much more than a pitch and putt course with tiny greens that are very slow. Overall the course is not well maintained. But for $10 you get to play nine holes riding in a beat up old golf cart. I've been there a few times and will probably go again with a friend who has just started taking up golf and not quite ready yet for a real course.
