The Woodlands Country Club

Wow how Erie…. Once a beautiful golf course is now abandoned. The architect’s that made these homes are all big homes with flat roof tops, some of these houses are beautiful and nostalgic while other houses are barely clinging to life. I love golf courses and this one was big, you can barely see where the golf carts used to go the earth is swallowing them up. I feel so bad for the residents im sure once upon a time they paid a pretty penny to live there and now it’s not maintained. I wish someone would save this golf course however I heard they want to build condos on the course, that’s going…

Nice staff, golf course greens were really full of sand and sticking to the ball as it rolls. Course is pretty plain with most holes looking exactly the same

Great courses both East & West what a shame the courses are being sold!!!! 700 plus houses to be built soon, Not a big fan of that since the city of Tamarac already has a golf course & won't go to bat to keep this lovely land mark & hidden gem. Houses selling from the low 300's on up to half a million dollars.

Quality quite good, golf course better than surroundings, some interesting holes.

Great Course. Excellent Staff. I recently started playing golf, i have always complained to a pro friend of mine about the starters. most of the courses have extremely rude starters, but not this course. Hal has been very friendly and very nice to us. I drive 40 miles north every Sunday to play woodland, just because of Hal's hospitality.

Very nice club. 80s style building is quite large. Kept in very good condition. I went there for a buffet brunch. Valet parking is $3. Food was excellent. The seafood salad was superb. Very wide variety of food items available. Handicap accessable.

I flew in to the area for business and wanted to get a round in. Saw the price and thought why not. My mistake to do that. Course was in ok shape, a lot of areas were not in the best shape or the prettiest. My biggest complaint was the rentals. I asked for two mens, stiff sets - one for me and another for a coworker. What we got was a mixed set. Had a mix of outdated clubs, women clubs, and senior clubs. All different types. The other portion that really didn't sit well was the woods and majority of the clubs had old worn down to the metal grips. I understand the sets will be mixed, but you ca…

Very nice en elegant banquet hall . Specious , beautiful and relaxing for an occasional outings....eat drink relax then dance your night away.... no matter the occasion I'm pretty sure you won't regret..... how do i forget the worn and friendly staff here

This was probably once a really upscale club. The course is well laid out and they do have accurate greens. The recession probably hit them hard and today it's pretty tired. Service was fair, carts decent, fairways pretty rough but I know they've had a drought. Paid $65 on a very dead Thursday
