A very nice place to hang out, have a drink or a meal whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful especially Beth, who was very informative as to what takes place there on different days such as Karaoke 🎤 every 1st Wednesday from 6pm to 9pm and Happy hour EVERYDAY from 3pm to 9pm. The food was grrrrreat

Course was on really bad shape. I have played multiple courses near here for the same money or less and had much better condition and much better service. We had a foursome in front of us that were playing out of two golf bags. We only saw the beverage cart once in 18 holes. This is the first time playing here and we couldn't find anyone to even help us find the first hole. I do not recommend this course and will never play it again.

11/22/2022: We played the Champions course after a few days of rain. The course is kind of wet but it's well-kept with only 4 cart-path holes. The course is in very good shape with a new clubhouse, new tee boxes, and white sand bunkers. The green conditions are very good except that it's kind of slow for me. The layouts are interesting with many strategic doglegs. The pace of playing is SLOW. Anyway, this is a very good course to play after its recent renovations. Circa 2020: I haven't played this track for about a decade. The course turns out better than I expected. The greens are slower but…

Love this place! Great customer service and friendly to everyone that visits and plays there. I love going to the view, the food is delicious! The gyro is the best on the menu! The greens are always nice. My favorite is the championship course. Love the staff! Can't wait to visit again.

Here’s a polished draft you could use for a Google review of Colony West Golf Club banquet services (you can adjust tone/details to fit your exact experience): ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently hosted our event at Colony West Golf Club, and the banquet services exceeded our expectations! The staff especially Renee was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring—making sure every detail was perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made our guests feel right at home. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and presented beautifully. Many…

This is a nice golf course. I just wish the location was easier to get to. Some holes and areas could use an update. Overall, it's a good course if you're in west Fort Lauderdale.

Colony West Golf Club is more than just a golf course to me—it’s my home course where I learned how to properly play an 18-hole round. I love coming here every Sunday, and each visit reinforces why this course is so special. The Par 3 holes are a highlight, especially for someone starting out in the game of golf. They offer a great balance of challenge and fun, and the potential to achieve low scores really boosts confidence. The course layout is well thought out, and there’s always something new to appreciate, whether it’s the scenery, the pace of play, or the friendly atmosphere. Whether y…

Colony West Golf Club is a beautiful facility with a friendly and gracious staff. The only downside about the facility is there's no signage on the building to let you you have arrived. The food in the restaurant, The View, and the catered meal was delicious. If I ever need a facility and catering in the Tamarac/Sunrise area Colony West Golf Club will be my first call.

Always fresh food served by very competent staff in a golf course setting. One of my favorite places for lunch. Fair prices and well prepared food, nothing fancy or pretentious but consistently good.

Golf enthusiasts will be happy to know that the Greater Fort Lauderdale area is also packed with a plethora of golf courses that are accessible to the public. Ever since its opening in 1971, Colony West in Tamarac has been one of the most popular public access golf facilities in South Florida. Originally designed by Devlin and Von Hagge, the Championship Course opened for the Jackie Gleason Classic – since renamed the Honda Classic - as a monstrous 7,553-yard, par-72 track. Shortly after the tournament’s completion, Jack Nicklaus and the Tournament Committee said the course was too tough, so t…
