As other reviews have mentioned, this course is absolutely beautiful with so many unique features. The greens are pristine and well cared for. Everyone in the pro shop is welcoming, upbeat, and makes you feel right at home. A wonderful experience all around!

My wife and I were visiting from Tulsa, OK and wanted to play a quick 9 holes. We played the back 9 and were astounded how well the course played. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The spacing between groups was perfect as we never had to wait on the group in front of us. We liked it some much we played the next day. Would love to see some food options, but not a big deal. Price was perfect for a round of golf. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful golf course in the Mountains.$48.00 for 18 with a cart on weekends so price is fair. Bridges and cart paths are in need of repair, however greens and fairways are in decent shape. I had a really nice round here and also got to see a waterfall at hole 8. If you know me or follow me you know that made my day. I also recommend the Hamburger at the clubhouse it was really good.

The Rock Golf Club & Resort, located just off scenic highway 11 in beautiful Pickens, South Carolina, was an absolute pleasure to golf. The course was in amazing shape. The greens were firm and the fairways clean and well manicured. There were many challenges, including the slope of the hillside, the abundance of streams and ponds, and a few narrow fairways. We walked the course, which ended up being around 6.5 miles total. Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

Played here with 5 of us on vaca from Florida. They got our 5some off at 845 and finished in 4 hrs. Course was worthy of a solid 4 stars. Greens were fantastic, fairways were the same but many of the tee boxes were kinda jacked up. Overall a solid 4+ star experience. Also good beer and nice people in the pro shop 10/1/2020 update-- played again and 5 stars. Greens were perfect, course was in great shape. Cant wait to come back again next year

My boyfriend and I visited from Myrtle Beach and as many good courses we have in town, we never get to enjoy these beautiful views! The course is made around nature and the elevation changes make it a very fun course to play. Greens were a bit rough but expected for this time of the year. All associates we encountered were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. We had an amazing time!

My friend and I travelled from Chesnee for a 7:30 tee time on Tuesday June 7. Forecast didn’t look perfect but to play a course with these views and all the fog and gray clouds was a really beautiful sight and experience. Never played here before but I certainly can’t wait to return on our next trip up Hwy 11 from Spartanburg County. To the owners…you’ve got a great course and really friendly staff. Keep up the good work and we’ll see ya the next time for another round!

This Course gets a 7.75 Overall rating. Ratings: Scenic: 8.25/10 Conditions: 7/10 Layout:6.5/10 To start off, this course was beautiful. It was tucked below what looks like a mountain range, and is basically a course that's built in the valleys of those mountains. An almost perfectly clear stream running out of those mountains meanders through almost every hole of the course. Tons of golf balls all throughout that stream, and since it's so crystal clear you can see them from a mile away. The course was in good shape, nothing really out of place, or to complain about. I played in March so I'm…

Afternoon outing with my son was really nice. Greens and fairways were in pretty good shape for the winter. Great value for the quality of golf. Some access around tee boxes need repair, so caution should be used. I’d recommend you bring your ball retriever as you’ll be challenged often by a winding creek.

Beautiful course in the winter. The views were outstanding and the conditions were even better. Virginia in the pro shop was so helpful and kind. Loved this course and will definitely be back.

We play in a men’s league on various courses and this is by far one of our favorite courses. The staff is super friendly and the course is fantastic. The greens are some of the best in the surrounding area. We will be back and look forward to more rounds.

Grabbed a last minute tee time. Course and greens were in good shape for late December. Pace of play was good with no pressure from behind. Amenities a little sparse, but expected for the locale.
