In summary

The Oaks Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained greens, interesting course layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both seasoned golfers and beginners. However, some visitors have noted issues such as inconsistent fairway conditions, occasional unfriendly service, and a lack of rain checks, which can detract from the overall experience. Despite these concerns, many find the course to be a good value with reasonable pricing and a welcoming atmosphere.

My friends and I have been coming to The Oaks for 15 years on a Saturday every August for a small reunion outing. The course is excellent and maintained as well or better than most. The small staff is excellent and the plain but sufficient clubhouse works. We look forward to coming for another 15 years!

Went for first time other day. Pretty nice course. Out of the 4 courses this year id rank this third but its close to second and wayyyy above 4th. these are just my opinions. Wasn't a fan of the sticker stating costs to repair parts etc on cart when a lot of what was listed isnt on customer imo. I will definitely come back again and introduce couple co workers to the place

Solid course, good greens, mediocre sand traps, not too busy but they don’t do rain checks which is a bad business model imo because there is going to be empty tee times anyways and you’re just creating bad juju and look greedy.. Oh well.. Otherwise a solid course.

Good solid course. I usually go there 2 or 3 times each year. Cheap beer prices, course was in very good condition for this time of the year, and has a nice clubhouse. I gave it 4 stars for two reasons. First our cart had bad steering issues. More importantly, because they allowed a solo golfer without a tee time to jump in front of a jam packed course on Labor Day Weekend. The solo golfer then went on to hit multiple balls and was slower than 4-somes doing a scramble. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a rural course.

Course is in rough shape. Greens are ok. Fairways are spotty and bare. Tee boxes are the same way.

Not friendly people. Took my 5 year for the first time ever on a golf course. He was sitting in the driver side of the cart. We drove down the fairway my foot on the pedal and hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. My 5 year hand on top of the wheel acting like he was drive. Old man groundskeeper came up and yelled at him for sitting there. And proceed to tell me you have to be 16 to drive the cart. I explained I was driving and complete control of the cart. He proceeded to come and continue to bug us and say they same stuff in a very rude manner. While leaving the course my son said can we…

This is a nice public golf course that I would play regularly if I were local. My wife talked me into driving her 75 minutes to her friends and this course was 2.2 miles away. I teed off at 4pm. The course is flat and easily walkable. I walked it and finished just at 7pm. Which was just before dark here in October. The course conditions were ok to good. The fairways are generally weed free. There were areas with some bare spots but I didn't find any with my tee shots. The greens had been deep irrigated with sand. You could tell that the grass on the green was consistent and weed free. There…

Really great course to play at especially if your just learning as there isn’t to many places to lose your balls. Staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. Today we didn’t have to wait on anybody either.

It's a friendly and quiet course. Not very challenging, but a great place to take a beginner. Club house is mediocre and I wouldn't recommend any food. The folks running it are easy going tho.

It was a nice place but they have let some of it go. The pond with bricks is deteriorating along with the fairways. The greens were good. The clubhouse is nice. The people who work there are really nice and very helpful.

It’s been awhile since we’ve been to the oaks. Regardless the service was horrible and the caretaker had to be rude about it. I understand you’re busy but to make paying customers wait for an extended amount of time without consideration or acknowledgement is disrespectful period. Then to top it off the sprinkles were still on at 9am. Just before we would arrive to the next hole they were on. We ended our playtime early not even starting the 5th hole. We did not ask for a refund, we just decided we will never play there again. I really hate that I had to leave a negative review but I felt they…
