The Club at Shadow Lakes

I had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Shadow Lakes County Club on Saturday, October 18th, 2025. Olivia is nothing short of a Saint. She saw this whole wedding through and helped tremendously. I could never thank her enough for all the hard work she put into my wedding. The food was amazing, the staff went above and beyond for everyone, and it was so beautiful. I will forever recommend them for future weddings!

Played the course here for the first time today. I was shocked how nice the course was for the price. While a lot of other muni's and affordable courses are burned out, the fairways here were lush (in late September!). Greens were great too. The course is tough - lots of trees and hills / slopes. The bunkers are in great shape but they're probably the main reason it's difficult (they are everywhere and make precision shots more important). My wife and I loved it and will make it one of our regulars.

Played this course today, it was in terrible shape. Not one grounds crew worker to be found. Greens have not been rolled or mowed in days. You’d have better success putting on the cart path. Wasn’t worth $25 let alone $40. Far cry from what it used to be.

Shadow Lakes is an amazing place for a wedding venue. Olivia, their wedding coordinator, and every one on the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding the most perfect wedding I have ever experienced. Everything I asked for, Olivia made it happen. I could not have been more pleased by my experience working with her. She is an amazing, organized, and thoughtful individual. Highly recommend this venue for any wedding, big or small. Thank you to Olivia, and shadow lakes for making my vision come alive.

Played Friday the 13th, Open Championship weekend, had a great time! Course was in great shape, excellent greens rolling fast and true. Pace of play was outstanding and everyone working there friendly and accommodating. Say hi to Tony in the pro shop and make sure you grab a homemade meatball sub in the grill!

I recently attended a wedding and have never been here before. It's actually quite nice. The wedding was outside and chairs were setup. The evening was beautiful. The food was really good as was the company. Overall a good experience

First time here and I did like the course, I was able to get a birdie on hole 9 which felt great and my drives were good. It is my short game and the scorching sun that beat me up! Course can be challenging but for the most part it is a nice straight shot throughout. The reason why I did not give this a 5 star is because they do not have water throughout and there is no one that comes a long to offer it, so I recommend getting some before heading out to the course. I really enjoyed the food at the restaurant here.

I should have known better. My usual golf group are all still working full time jobs while I am semi-retired. So getting them to play weekdays is very hard, and I usually play as a single on weekdays. When you play as a single you never know if you might get matched up with others or if busy get stuck with slow play. So I pay close attention to online tee times to see how busy a course is. When tee times are not online you are at the mercy of the course on timing and pace of play. I called Shadow Lakes to see if I could go out as a single on a Friday morning. Absolutely wonderful course. I love the layout, challenging enough but welcoming to novice golfers.

Attended and event in the ballroom. Its a beautiful venue, could use some slight updating. Food was amazing but one Huge issue, the dishes and flatware were filthy. Even the water glasses were disgusting. Its like they didn't use hot water or soap.

I love this club and maggs restaurant in general! My husband and I had our wedding there (reception and ceremony) - Olivia and Jackie are amazing to work with and appreciate everything they did to make our wedding day go off without a hitch. Both ladies are personable, easy to work with and have great suggestions and ideas.

A great golf course that is well taken care of and has terrific facilities on-site. We are here eaxh year for a fundraiser golf outing.
