In summary

Deer Trails Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both seasoned golfers and newcomers. The course's serene setting and challenging yet accessible layout are frequently highlighted, along with the convenience of GPS carts. However, some visitors have pointed out that the sand traps require attention and the cart restrictions near the greens can be inconvenient.

This is a course I'd been looking forward to playing for a long time. It's a special place to me, where my dad taught me to play back in 1971 when it was the Crucible Management Club. The last time I had played it was sometime in 1974 before I headed off to boot camp and a 20-year Naval aviation career. Fast forward to Friday, September 23rd 2022 - a "journey back in time" round on a beautiful sunny morning, the final stop before driving home to East Liverpool after 11 days on the road from Washington State. It was a pleasure meeting Jill, the very pretty and kind lady in the clubhouse; she wa…

Deer Trails has become my favorite spot to play nine holes. You can’t beat the price, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the greens are outstanding. The bunkers could definitely use some love, but the relaxed atmosphere, well maintained fairways, and beautiful greens more than makes up for it. The GPS carts are great as well. Ignore the previous complaints about the carts shutting down near the greens…after a couple of holes, it’s pretty easy to figure out. This place is also great for kids and new players as well. They make everyone feel welcomed, no matter the skill level…

This course has gone downhill so fast. They spent all there money on new carts, but ran out to fix up the course. Bring your jungle boots when you land in the sand. Sand traps have nothing but weeds growing. They chopped down at least 10 trees through the course. Here’s the best part. If you go near the green, your cart stops working. IT IS THE MOST ANNOYING FEATURE on the new carts. I’m talking 30 yards from the green, your cart stops working. Until all of these get fixed. Golf at your own risk. There’s plenty of good courses in Beaver county that aren’t even considered a country club that’s…

Best value in the area in my opinion. It is only a 9 hole course but is maintained well and has a friendly staff. This is not the most ritzy or pampering golf course around however for the price you can beat it. The greens play true and the most fairways are on par with other course in a higher price bracket. The layout is challenging yet open so you dont lose you balls. There is beer and drinks available as well as food.

The two for one day on Wednesday and Friday is definitely worth it Fairways was better than I thought the greens are the best I've seen in Beaver County lot of ball washers challenging for a 9-hole course
