Update: the man I’m talking about was most definitely working with Cascades. Had the Cacades golf cart and polo shirt. He was consistently monitoring the parking lot by the club house, then on to the golf course. Not sure if owner is trying to save face or forgot they hired someone to work the lot. Older gentleman working parking lot/security was terribly condescending when I pulled into the club parking lot and needed to park somewhere else. Girl in the pro shop redeemed you a little. Very nice.

It had been decades since I was last at the then Briarwood CC. The course looked spectacular and the practice areas are top notch. The club house is next level. I would love to play the updated layout

If you are wearing the wrong clothing; such as a cowboy hat and boots, (even though this is Texas and you have money), for a simple dinner and a couple of drinks, your not welcome according to the New Owners. Good luck trying to get PGA to welcome you into the circuit in Texas.

Very well kept course with an outstanding clubhouse that included all the amenities. The dining hall served very good food and the staff was very friendly. If there is any constructive criticism it would be to spend some time giving attention to the waters on the property. The water hazards contained unappealing looking water with an overgrowth of vegetation in some. The surrounding lake is equally as unpleasant looking with an abundance of water vegetation covering a vast area of the shoreline and around the boathouse. Had the waters been kept as well as the remainder of the grounds, this pla…

Proshop provided excellent support for our Veteran's tournament. Course layout is superlative and is in tip-top shape. Catering staff was super and food was deliciously prepared. Clubhouse and amenities are super nice. Definitely a 5-star experience!

I reached out to the Cascades country club on February 22nd but never heard from them. I decided to go in person to talk to them. Unfortunately, I showed up March 8th, a day they were closed but I did get to meet the manager, Ji. Ji scheduled an appointment with me for March 13th. Ji did not make the meeting but we met with her assistant. The assistant was extremely rude and belittled my mom. My mom has bad knees and she would not slow down to wait for her. I told her that we need to slow down for mom and she stated, “she can keep up.” After the tour, the assistant stated she would text me the…

Excellent facility, and very helpful staff. I just held a meeting there, including a golf tournament and can't say enough good things about the whole experience. The event staff was so pleasant, the golf pro was exceptional. Great event all the way around!

Enjoy my rounds I have played here. Great layout with plenty of forgiveness room for your average golfer. Cart staff and pro shop staff were pleasant. Not a bad place to play if you know a member.

Sean, the on-site golf pro, is fantastic. He is great to work with, is always positive and has helped me tremendously. I really can't say enough good things about him. Prices for lessons are very reasonable too! The course and facility is beautiful as well!! Go check it out!

Played the course for a charity tournament in October. The course was nice, with a few holes that stood out to me, with 5-7 other holes being average. What makes Cascades stand out is the clubhouse/pro shop and other facilities. The clubhouse is beautiful and has a great view over the first tee and the lake. The pro shop is well stocked and the staff was helpful. Driving range and practice facilities were some of the best I've been able to play.
