Service was fantastic, always had my drink being filled and asked if I was okay. Food was amazing, one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had.

My brother and my family coordinated with our real estate agent and a seller's agent to check out a house for my parents. The gate staff were very demanding/uptight requiring driver's licenses and prior agent coordination. The property was nice, but when we were viewing the house, three white pickups pulled up and armed guards took our license plates down and informed us that we were trespassing and we were to be escorted off the premises. A professional security response would have been a couple friendly guys (weapons concealed) on a golf cart reminding us of policy and helping us to get into…

I do not gripe about service; as a former server/bartender, I give GRACE. But I do look at my receipts... I was charged for a drink I didn't order. I was assured it would be handled. It was not; I asked about it and was told my ticket would be refunded. 17 days later... nothing. I will call tomorrow. This is a private club, I'm crossing my fingers. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

The Club has hosted two luncheons for our organization and both were excellent. The food and service was great and the atmosphere pleasant. The business office was professional and met our requests with no problems. Thank you!

If you're lucky enough to get invited by a resident to come in the gate for round of golf, as i was it's an absolute joy. Nicest course I've played in years. Wild pigs are trying to decimate this beautiful track though. Its a shame. A couple fellas with supressed thermal bang sticks could rid this problem in a couple of weeks. They would move on. But the no firearm rules will keep em in the area. Luckily the hogs didn't destroy any greens, but probably a matter of time. The 70$ rate for a guest was a tad hard to swallow but for that nice of a place its "par for the course" lol

Visited the lodge for a wedding from Houston. I've never been pulled over or ticketed in 11 years for anything. The neighborhood has some extreme hills and I was caught going 10mph over the speed limit a whopping 35mph lol. We had over 10 people attending the wedding who said they were also pulled over yet I was the only one who received any type of violation to my knowledge. The officer was nice and I understand he was just doing his job. Also, two senior citizens who I'm assuming live in the neighborhood in different vehicles took the time while they drove by to curse at me out the window.

I only give it one star for the security officers at the main gate. They are rude and give delivery drivers a hard time to get the residents in THEIR community the food they order. And then laugh in the booth about it! Beautiful place though. Love the view.

We love visiting Hideaway, courtesy of some friends who live there. Such a wonderful community tucked away with some of life's greatest treasures! We especially enjoy the lake with its white sandy beach and clean water. In addition, we always enjoy the pavilion just up the walkway from the swimming area for a nice picnic.
