In summary

Pine Springs Golf Course is frequently praised for its significant improvements, particularly in course conditions, with well-maintained greens and fairways, and a dedicated grounds crew. The staff generally receives positive feedback for being accommodating and respectful, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. However, some visitors express concerns about slow pace of play, lack of marshals to manage it, and occasional issues with customer service in the pro shop.

Been playing out here at least once a week for the past year. The course is improving and they are continually working on the course. Greens are great. Look forward to seeing the continued improvements coming up. Also, see many reveiws of unfriendly staff and kind of suprised because that has not been my expierence at all. Everyone in the club house has been very respectable and no problems with customer service in person on phone or otherwise. Aways very accomodating and informative. Thank you Pine Springs staff and ownership for your work and continued improvenments. The course is looking gr…

Pine Springs has become my go-to place for playing golf this year. The improvements they've made are incredible, especially compared to the previous owners efforts. I stopped going to Pine Springs due to the previous owners lack of upkeep. But not anymore...From a cow pasture to a well groomed golf course is pretty remarkable. Greg and his grounds crew are really putting the shine on this course. The greens are as good and much better than any course in the area. The improvements are seen as a sign that the new owners/management really do care about their patrons. Their carts are always runnin…

This course just keeps getting better and better. The greens this season are the best I’ve ever seen them. I played Eagles Bluff last week, and honestly, Pine Springs’ greens are every bit as good... Maybe even better. The tee boxes are being overseeded right now and look fantastic. They’ve added new ball cleaners and signage on every hole, and it really shows how much care is going into the place. Everyone who works there has been awesome to me. I absolutely love this course. 💯

Course itself in pretty good shape . However allowing 5 somes on a weekend is not a good look. Saw at least two groups of them and no sign of a Marshall to move them along . Unfortunately got behind one of them and it just slows play. Twilight rate was $50 as well ( for a t time after 4). I thought that was a bit high as well.

Course design is good but it’s pretty confusing because there are no signs (except for the 16th hole) and for some reason the cart paths intersect a ton. Not to mention the tee boxes that were just piles of sand and the greens were mostly weeds and patchy grass. I was also overcharged $20. I will admit it was partly my fault due to a miss communication between the guy on the phone and whoever rang me up but there was still no attempt to make it right and apparently it’s impossible to refund anything.

Real nice golf course. Pretty views. Amatursles and semipro would all enjoy. Only thing keeping it from perfect is the cart paths, a bit bumpy and not well maintained in areas but still worth checking the place out

The course is in Awesome shape, played last week and going to play again this week. Best greens and fairways I have seen at this course.

The course was in great shape. Even though they had just aerated the greens they weren't bad at all. They were pretty fast too! Really enjoyed the round at this course!

Visiting family in Tyler. Almost didn't go after reading some of the posted reviews. It really wasn't bad for a Public course. Some areas of the course need some attention. Tee boxes were decent. Couple of fairway layouts were questionable. Overall, not a bad experience. I'd play there again.

I’ve played this course several times, and while the layout and conditions are usually solid, the pace of play has become a serious issue. It’s extremely frustrating when a round that should take four hours stretches well beyond five, with no ranger in sight to keep groups moving. It doesn’t seem like there’s any enforcement of pace-of-play guidelines, and that really takes away from the experience. It’s a shame because this course has potential, but until they start actively managing the flow on the course, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I’ve had the opportunity to play this course a couple times while visiting my son. Pine Springs has basically turned into a backwoods sub-par course. For the overpriced green fees, you get 5 plus hours of golf, groups of 4 playing numerous balls, drinking, throwing trash, playing loud music, and completely disrespecting the course. There are no Marshalls to control this behavior and speed up play. The staff in the pro shop could absolutely care less. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many local public golf options. However, I would certainly consider driving a bit farther and finding another cou…

The course is looking better than it has in awhile, the tee boxes still need a lot of work, and a lot of the fairways have a ways to go… Now let’s get to the reason for two stars… the so called “pro” and the older gentleman that work the pro shop are two of the rudest people I have ever met.. as I stood in line.. I watched them comment and and be rude in a non sarcastic manner to every single guest in front of me.. I am not sure how these two are still employed by the course. But if I was the owner I would be trying to get them out as fast as possible. I have talked to several people that fe…
