In summary

Tamarack Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course conditions, including excellent greens and fairways, and its unique layout that offers different tee boxes for a varied 18-hole experience on a 9-hole course. The staff is noted for being friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the course is described as a hidden gem worth the drive, some visitors have mentioned issues with dry fairways and less-than-ideal greens, particularly during off-peak times.

Went in off season still great tight fair way small bunkers have stairways over fence on some holes to hit your ball when you go over the fence cart path only great course overall

Great place to play. The course was in extremely great condition. The greens were the best I played all year. Challenging course for 9 holes. Great helpful staff. I am an ADA golfer and was provided special access to the course. It was hardly necessary as the paths give you very close access to the fairways. If you're traveling west on I70, stop here and play instead of Denver. A better course for a great price.

We enjoyed playing this 9 hole course. It's really interesting how they make this an 18 hole course, for the back 9, they have a different tee box. The greens and tee boxes are well maintained. Yes, this is out in the middle of nowhere, but it's such a nice course. We would drive out from Denver and play here again.

We were able to find a special rate which was good . The disappointment was the coarse was not what it advertised. The greens were horrible and fair ways were supper dry. Did not like the par 4s for women were very long. Especially since the greens were in bad shape. Ball bouncing all over trying to put in. Would not pay full price to golf there. Glad we had a special rate. On the upside grounds keeper was nice. And girl working the club house polite.

Great little hidden gem. Very well kept, friendly staff, great condition. It is a 9 hole course with two VERY DIFFERENT sets of tees for front and back 9. Went during Friday at noon had course all to myself. Great for all levels of play.

The fairways were in wonderful condition which is especially impressive considering how dry Limon is. Good mix of holes for a 9 hole course, reasonable green fees, and forgiving fairways. A good golf experience and a little hidden gem out in Limon.

I have to leave the house an hour before my tee time at any Aurora course and that is the same time it takes me to be on the first tee at Tamarack. It is not unusual to be the only player on the course so it plays less than 4 hours for 18. The two tees on every hole make a big difference in how the hole plays. I like to walk but carts are always available. This is not a flat prairie course, you will play to elevated greens and tees well above the fairway or green. I don’t play on weekends but the course is known for the the great weekend tournaments. I’d hate to show up and have to share the c…

Good course. 9 holes with alternating tees to go 18. Generous fairways. Greens were in great shape. Very reasonable.

This is a fun place to play 9 or 18 or 27 holes on a 9 hole par 35/36 layout with 3 different tee boxes to keep it interesting. They are open during the winter with a good self pay, honor system (cash) with envelopes. It can be open when Denver/Ft. Collins/Colorado Springs courses are snowed in. You can walk, but note there lots of goatheads that might pop inflatable tires. They have a driving range. The area has a wind farm, so you get to factor that into your shots. It's worth a visit if you like wandering, want friendly atmosphere, don't mind wind, and might like getting away from the crowd…
