Southern Dutchess Country Club

I was there for a special event with my Garden Club. We we're in the banquet room for our monthly meeting. While there I didn't see much of the club, only went to the bar to get a glass of wine. Good place to hold an event, although I assume, you need to be a member.

Nice 9 hole course. Greens nice. 3 sets tee boxes each hole

One of the best values for golf in the Hudson Valley. No hole is the same from dog leg left, dog leg right, elevated tee boxes to elevated greens. A couple of holes even have water to contend with. Greens are always in great shape and run true. A couple of the tee boxes need work but plans are in place to repair shortly. Two holes play par 4 or 5 depending upon front or back 9 with different tee boxes. Course was built in 1903 with many mature hard wood trees. Stunning in the fall with mount beacon in the background. A mix of blue collar and professionals for a more laid back experience.

Very pleasant and accommodating staff. The room and table setups were perfect. The food was also done well. Wheelchair accessibility is not ideal
