What People Say

In summary

Fishkill Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained, flat 12-hole layout that is ideal for beginners and those practicing their short game. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, and the course offers a peaceful setting with practice facilities. However, some visitors express dissatisfaction with the cash-only policy, pricing of range balls, and restrictions on children using certain areas, which may detract from the overall experience for some families.

I am a total beginner along with my girlfriend and this course was very accommodating and fun to play. We errored in our path even with good directions and staff kindly redirected us. Weather was great and the course was beautiful and definitely challenged us. Liked the range and practice areas for warmup, will definitely be returning.

If you are looking for a easy place to play ⛳️ of a sunny weekend day, this place fits the bill. If you are scratch golfer, this place won't be too much of a challenge. The golfers in the pro shop were nice. The only drawback here is they only accept cash. Bummer. There is an ATM in the pro shop, but I am sure the fees are high.

I’ve never felt the need to leave a review about a place until now. As a child I was taken to this place countless times to learn the game a golf. Now as a father with young children I wanted a quiet place to teach one of my children to play. After spending an hour or so hitting balls with my child everything was great and all smiles. Apparently there is a NO children rule allowed on the putting green and we asked to leave by the owner (who sent someone else out) and was told Casperkill has a practice facility to use. My child, under my supervision, had a putter in hand and was using it correc…

25$ to walk 12 is hard to beat, course is almost entirely flat with most holes being a straight shot making them deceptively simple yet challenging nonetheless. Great course for a relaxed round for golfers of any skill. Staff are cordial and keep the place in good shape.

we knew we would have some down time on a business trip, and this course was very close to our hotel, so we brought our clubs. For $25 we weren't expecting much, but the course was in great shape, and the staff were extremely nice and accomodating. A good amount of short par 3s, but they are made challenging by small greens, and some well placed trees to force accuracy. If I'm ever back in that area I would definitely play there again. Only improvement would be better signage to get from the 6th green to the 7th tee box.

If you're looking for a family friendly golf course stay far away from here. I wouldn't spend a single dime to golf at this golf course after the absolute disregard this course had for allowing us to take our son golfing with us. We are well aware of any risk that could occur while golfing and we were more than willing to accept that risk on behalf of our child as there is a larger risk dirving in a car with him everyday then there is on a golf course. would not recommend to anyone.

Yeah it’s only $25 for 12 holes with a few par fours mixed in, but the range balls are comically overpriced, the greens are glacial, and the place only takes cash… Seriously, a cash-only golf course. Also, I know it’s built on wetlands, but it’s easily the buggiest course I’ve ever been to as well. You will probably feel like you’re getting eaten alive by flies and mosquitoes if you come here when it’s even seventy-something outside.

The carts are decrepit and overpriced. The holes are cramped, basically on top of each other. Several times I was nearly hit by other golfers, very uncomfortable atmosphere. It cost $25 for the front and $25 for the cart, plus the atm fee. The large bucket of balls for the driving range was $15. I don’t think I will go back.

The course is in awesome shape, definitely a better course to walk considering it's mostly shorter par threes. Good price for 12 holes, also really like the two practice areas for chipping and putting on the driving range.
