In summary

South Ridge Golf Club offers a scenic course with well-maintained greens and a layout that appeals to players of varying skill levels, set against a backdrop of natural beauty. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the course's condition during renovations, noting issues like bare fairways and temporary greens. Additionally, there are frequent complaints about the staff's rudeness and unprofessional behavior, which some feel detracts from the overall experience.

This is definitely the worst course in fort Collins. Sure it has a full 18 holes that are occasionally/ rarely up to golf standards. However the staff, specifically the Marshalls or whatever they call themselves are really rude. Not in the 20+ times ive interacted with them have I had a positive interaction with either gentlemen. It seems to me they are mad at the fact they have to do THEIR JOBS. Kinda crazy behavior from that generation of men if I say so myself.

COURSE IS NICE. CLOSE. But oh my goodness your staff! VERY RUDE AND SHORT. To the point of not being professional. Takes away from the entire experience. Can we say "customer service"? I think it may be because your older PRO ( I believe it is "Dave") sets a very poor example for the younger pros. They are not friendly either. I am sure your PROS play golf at other courses. They should let the PROS at the other many courses in the Denver and Northern Co area to give them lessons on good customer service. The Pros at the Broadmoor would CRINGE.

Whoever cuts their grass needs to learn some things. Balded mud areas on the greens, giant clumps of grass all over the course... Honestly it wasn't a good 18 holes with all the mud holes and grass like that. Kind of a huge bummer because the course layout is interesting and fun.

Last time I play this course. Booked a t time with a confirmation and a price on the booking. Show up for our t time and the price changed. We were told it was dynamic pricing by some very rude staff. That is not how that works. They are overcharging people with this line of BS. We ended up playing and the course is in ok shape but a lot of mud holes. I don't know how they can get away with cheating customers.

Great golf course to bring players of all abilities. In our group we had anywhere from scratch to plays 2 times a year. And fun was had by all until some got to the 18th. What a tough hole that was! In great shape as well

First time for playing the course, will go back and play. There are some challenging holes on the course. Some nice par 3 holes.

A good municipal course in Fort Collins. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The course doesn't play long but requires accurate tee shots since most holes have houses on either side.

It's a mid '80s Muni. Some fun holes, but it's also limited by being in the middle of town and in the middle of the neighborhood. I feel like it should be cheaper than what the city charges, but also enjoy playing here and have been coming back year after Year.

This course is poorly managed. Despite spending a large amount of money on a redesign, the result is unappealing. To cut water usage, the course has been neglected—grass and weeds are now overgrown, making the course difficult to play. The superintendent is rude.

Pro shop employees were EXTREMELY rude I asked to pay for my round and he gave a snotty look, then after our round I went and payed cash for a bucket of range balls but the guy too my money and refused to give me my change back that he owed me. I thought he would give me the amount of balls for the money he wouldn’t give me back but no. I have see many other reviews of similar things but there has been no change.

Course is good. Management needs a little work.
