What People Say

In summary

Cattail Creek Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained 9-hole par-3 course, which is ideal for beginners and families, offering beautiful views and a welcoming atmosphere. Many visitors enjoy the accessible pricing and the availability of amenities like free club rentals and a dedicated kids' course. However, some guests have noted issues with slow pace of play, occasional staff rudeness, and ongoing course repairs, which have affected their overall experience.

My husband is new to golf so we've been playing this course some. I really like that you can rent clubs for free, makes the sport feel more accessible for beginners! The course itself is very well maintained and the views are beautiful. My only suggestion for improvement is since this is a course where many beginners come, it would be nice if you could specify on your tee time that you have beginners in your group and they put a slightly larger time gap between you and the group following you. I think this would help with tee boxes getting backed up. Overall though we like the course!

A nice, quiet beginner's golf course. Wide open driving range, with plenty if space. 9 hole course that is great for someone wanting to learn or polish some skills.

FAVORITE PLACE TO GOLF in Loveland! Super quick and fun Par-3. Anywhere between 1-2 hours for play time! If your thinking about it do it! great Views of Long’s Peak as well on a clear day!

Lovely 9 hole golf range. Perfect for walking. No cart necessary. Work your short game. Enough variety for interest.

First time experience: came on a Saturday with my son to find virtually all adults on the course. Not conducive for a young golfer. Course attendants came to us after the first hole and said we were too slow. Do not double bogey the first hole. 10min rolling tee times booking 4 to a tee and they do not want anyone falling behind. We ended up leaving because I felt my son was being pressured and we were just trying to enjoy ourselves and learn.

Range is so so but cheap. Did not play par 3, but it looks great even early season. There is a nice kids course with plastic clubs and balls, which is really nice for young beginners. Some nice inexpensive pro shop items. Did not see any beer sales though, but didn't really look that hard. Could be 5 star with better range.

We absolutely love this little course! Great staff fun little par 3 to practice your wedge shots. We go to the kids course a lot too! Our daughter loves the course! It's a great price. I'd recommend going here for any of their activities!

Love the course. Love the cart guy and the ranger on the first hole. The most unpleasant person was the ranger on the course. He was extremely rude, bullying, and not a good role model for children. It was obvious he is unhappy in his life because he was so rude on the course. A parent can obviously drive a golf cart 30 feet while sitting in the passenger seat of a golf cart. It's not rocket science! Focus on people tearing up the course and troublemakers, not good families. (Gray goatee, early 60’s, hat and grumpy)!

Great 9-hole par 3 course. They can usually fit you in if you just show up (at least on weekdays) and it's perfect for kids. It can get pretty busy on the weekend with a lot of beginner golfers, so you've got to be patient.
