In summary

Scottish Heights Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, challenging layout, and stunning views. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the reasonably priced, high-quality food and convenient stay-and-play packages. However, some guests have reported issues with rough cart paths and concerns over management's handling of customer service, particularly regarding pace of play and reservations.

Really good food and reasonably priced. We did a 3 day golf outing there and are definitely planning to go back. The service was great and to be able to stay right on site with 2 bars was amazing. I highly recommend the play and stay package. We were even able to just leave our clubs on the cart so they were ready to go the next morning. Great views from the hill top too. Update 5-22-26. For a second year in a row, it was another great outing. Still had great service and great golf. One of my favorite places to have a golf outing. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to go back…

Oh yeah, this is my type of golf course. Beautiful course, impeccably maintained grounds and friendly employees all at a good price. My favorite part of the course is that there are no sand traps, or maybe only a few. All I know is I didn't hit any traps and thats not possible unless there aren't any or very few haha! I will definitely be visiting again and recommend to anyone to get to Scottish Heights. Thank you very much.

I have been coming here for 12 years! We come up probably five or six times a summer from Buffalo. We do the stay and play during the week. Best deal around.! Three days unlimited golf no charge for your cart. Rooms are right on the course and you get two meals a day breakfast and dinner awesome!! Love the outdoor tiki bar and fire pits! By far this is the best kept secret in Pennsylvania !! Great course not easy! The views are priceless! The hardest greens I’ve ever played you never know which way they’re going!😂 The owners Sean, and Jackie are amazing! The food is fantastic and so is the sta…

Scottish Heights Golf Club is a great place to play golf and get something to eat. The views from the course are absolutely breathtaking. The brand-new golf carts are a really nice addition. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you like to play golf - no matter your skill level - check it out!!

Great golf for Western PA. Laid back course, excellent carts, best food in the area and views like none other! I’ve been golfing here for a few years now, and this is by far my favorite course in the area! Restaurant has an outdoor patio, tiki bar, screened in porch seating, indoor a/c seating & bar, live entertainment on the weekends, and stay & play options. Can’t beat it!

Really …… Who is giving this place a decent review? Do not , do not go by website info ……Website makes course sound great , it is very far from it. True goat hill course.Cart paths are more inclined to be off road ATV trails , you will feel like a yo-yo ( up and down holes , blind shots , shitty pin placements ,…….. One and done with this place.

Just returned from 3day stay and play deal. Food and service were amazing. Golf course is very interesting and fun but I agree with people who remarked about the really ruff cart paths. Accommodations were functional and nothing fancy but for the price it is a deal. Everyone working here was very pleasant. Beautiful scenery

Another season of Wednesday night golf league is successfully completed. The waitstaff at the Tiki bar always take great care of us. A special shout out to Erica for putting up with us all season. Tonight’s banquet was equally successful Thanks Shawn and Jacki for taking care of us all season. Thanks Koren for a great banquet. Can’t wait for next season

I will start this review with the food, and service was amazing... 3 years ago. I’ve been coming to this golf course with a large group for many years, and unfortunately, 2025 was our last. What used to be a fun, welcoming spot with great food and good service has now become the opposite. The owner, Shawn, recently treated our group as if we were a bunch of unruly kids, scolding us like we were drunken 21-year-olds, which couldn’t be further from the truth. His comment that “you may be happier at a place with less structure” was especially ironic, considering his establishment has been slippi…

Been coming here many years with a golf group. This year, the manager ( Shawn-same manager for years) treated us like a group of drunken 20-year-olds. We are all 50 or above, accused us of doing stupid shit on the course, not making reservations for dinner. Dinner was part of our package, the service at the restaurant was horribly slow this year. And he blamed us for it. Course had lots of burned out spots on the fairway as well. We’ll be finding a new place to go play golf for three days from here on out.
