Many enjoy the amenities and the friendly staff, with some praising the course's condition, especially in dry seasons. Had a good outing at Shalamar. Been there a few times in the past. Considering we have been in the dry season for months, the course was not too bad off. Had a few chewed up greens but nothing a little rain wouldn't help. I plan to go back for sure!

Pace of play was great and the staff were as well. The course is in very rough condition. Looks like it hasn't been edged or weeded in over a month. Sand traps are full of grass and weeds. T boxes are exclusively crabgrass and clover weed. Greens are mostly 1/3 dirt. I don't think it's a staff issue I believe they have trouble with water drainage. Posting this review not to insult the course just to inform anyone who hasn't been here in a while. There's a course a few miles away in Lakeland for $5 less in much better condition.

Golf course review. This could be a great golf course. I almost gave it 3 stars, but the layout was really nice and very challenging and the price was right. However, the tee boxes, sand traps and especially the greens were in bad shape. The price was good, but you get what you pay for, I guess. Hopefully, conditions will improve sometime.

Great course and loved playing there. Will certainly play there again. Greens need a little attention is the only reason for not rating as a 5.

Awesome course. 5 stars 1 year ago Fast forward 1 year later major disappointment, course in very bad condition. Greens were in the worst condition I've seen at any golf course. All 18 hole greens were brown, weedy, and some bare areas. I hope I'll be able to edit this review in the future. I've had some good experiences over the years here. Hopefully, the management will get back on track. I'll research before making a tee time in the future. I wish I could post pictures. We stopped keeping score after 2nd hole, and the ball wouldn't stay in line. We ended up just practicing driving and chipp…

Great clubhouse. Back nine is improved, working on the front nine. I am playing again.

Nice course in a nice neighborhood. A little tight on the back nine. In decent condition for January. Some water and quite a few trees. Because it's a neighborhood course, it was quite crowded and a little slow. But I did like the course and would golf here again.

Played yesterday 6/19. I hadn’t played here in 5 or 6 weeks. Was very surprised and disappointed in the condition of the course and especially some of the greens. The 16 was almost unplayable. It needs to be closed and worked on. Crazy they charge full price for this. Won’t play here again anytime soon.

Nice manufactured-home golf community. However, the HOA fees here are steep and do not include costs that most other community HOA fees do (such as lawn cutting).

This course is a lot of fun. Not long but tight in areas and water everywhere. It offers a good challenge for everyone.

Fairly good shape, considering our current lack of rain.
