In summary

Sawmill Creek Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly, professional staff, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. The course offers a challenging design with tight fairways and numerous hazards, appealing to seasoned golfers. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, overwatered areas, and the condition of cart paths, which could detract from the overall experience for some players.

An amazing track! Beautiful layout with large greens that are very well protected by bunkers and water. Fairways are a little tight. Very friendly starter and bag attendants. The only negative thing was that the course was ober saturated without any rain in the last couple weeks. Got no roll in the fairways and it was hard to hit irons out of the wet fairways. Would definitely recommend playing here!

Plenty to say about this golf course but not enough time. I drove 21/2 hrs. to get there and right from the moment I entered the drive I saw the beautiful hotel and convention center then on to the golf course parking lot. I parked and was greeted by a gentleman bringing me a cart right to my car. Very pleasant to talk with and really liked the service. I spoke with the young man who checked me in and got me pointed in the right direction being new to this course. Everyone I encountered was very polite and helpful. Great service. The pro shop is on the smaller side but very clean and well orga…

I can't say enough good things about this course. The workers are awesome and the course looks like a country club. We went on a rainy Saturday and we're the only ones on the course. We had an absolute blast

This is a very well maintained golf course with plush fairways and large greens. Our group did lose a number of balls here as there is a lot of unplayable area if you have a misdirected ball. The back nine is much tougher then the front nine and our scores reflected that. The cart trail needs work as there are many areas that are in disrepair.

Don't expect to complete 18 holes in less than 5.5 hours. The pace of play here is very slow. Tee time about 8 minutes apart. You will wait to tee off on every hole. Personally, there are better options in the area.

Played here for the first time in years. Overall, course was in good shape. A new fairways were a bit rough, were still decent. The greens were in good shape. The Par 3's were quite scenic and challenging. Nice place to play.

Course is in treble condition. Staff is friendly but just so they can squeeze every dollar out of your wallet. Cart paths are in shambles. You also won’t be receiving a nice golf cart. Overall don’t waste your 60 dollars on this course. I would recommend going to thunder bird instead its right down the road.

Beautiful course. And it's tough! The hazards are designed to intimidate but an experienced golfer will enjoy the challenge. Friendly beavers abound (they have the right away😊).

Beautiful course! Well maintained. The people were friendly and extremely helpful. We came on a Monday so it wasn't overly busy but made a tee time anyway. Enjoyed a beer on the outdoor patio afterwards. Hoping to try the food on another visit. Price was fair. It's a must do if you drop your teens off at Cedar Point for the day!
