In summary

Rock Harbor Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful and challenging layout, featuring two distinct courses, Rock and Boulder, set in a picturesque quarry setting. Many visitors appreciate the well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and unique course features like elevation changes and varied hole designs. However, some golfers have experienced issues with course maintenance, particularly with fairway grass length and unclear signage, and have noted that the pace of play can be slow at times.

This course is quite an experience, been there many times and it's still one of my favorites in the entire area. Two beautiful and challenging 18 hole courses, Rock and Boulder. The way they built these courses in this quarry is incredible. Highly recommend!

Place is amazing! Played both courses in a day with my buddy and had a great time! Layout is incredible! Keep up the good work! You can tell the workers really care about the course! Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Can’t wait for the next round!

These are photos of a kitty litter substance that takes up several “fairways”. Of the fairways none were mowed and were longer than the grass in my yard. The course was severely backed up with a round taking 6 hours. Cost $220 for two small range buckets/2 rounds of golf/a box of balls (stupid to buy from a club house but had no choice). One of the worst maintained courses I’ve ever played, unfortunately.

I played for the first time here yesterday and it's now one of my favorite courses. We played the Boulder Course which is newer and seemed like the more picturesque of the two from the website. The course has an awesome layout. Every hole requires thinking and planning. Good mix of easier holes and harder holes. The views were gorgeous. Fun elevation changes. The greens are tough! They are giant so you think, great, easy to land on and putt for par, but the slopes and pin positions make you pray for a two putt. Three putts were plentiful. Still fair though. We played pin position 8, so watch o…

My Dad took me here for my Birthday on Tuesday. Beautiful course. Very well groomed. Definitely not a beginner course. A lot of club members running the course solo kept bypassing us. It took us nearly 5 hours to finish the course because we kept getting asked to let faster players through. They also don't allow players to share clubs, which forced us to rent an extra set we didn't need. And there were no hole maps at the tee boxes like many other courses have. They did have a snack cart though. It's a pretty course but it feels unfriendly to outsiders. 6/10

My husband and I got a call from a good friend of ours asking us to go golfing. We have played golf all across the country. This course is by far one of the most beautiful, fun, surprising courses. We loved everything about it.Thank you so much Mr. Perry for building such an amusing golf course!

Such a Beautiful place!! The staff is amazing! Even if you are not going to play on the Golf Course it has great food and such friendly staff! The chef is amazing as well! My favorite though is the fries as I apparently am a child however, everything is wonderful! I highly recommend!

Wow, such a purty course. I've not played this course before and, tough as it was, shot one of my best rounds in a solid 5 years. I read a bunch of reviews, then slowed my game down and played smart...but aggressive. There was a ton of rain up to the day before and we expected a ton of water. To our amazement, this was not the case. Staff was super friendly and provided some solid pointers on holes I had questions about. So I followed their advice and played those holes well. A very nice day on a beautiful course. I definitely recommend the course, and when you play, play with an open mind…

We Played the Boulder at Rock Harbor today. It’s usually one of the best courses to play. Some tee boxes were beat up pretty good. Sand traps were not raked and weeds around the edges were not trimmed up. There were a lot of weeds on the course. I did notice a lot of the weeds have been sprayed lately, which is good. At some of the T’s on the cart paths, there were no plaques or blue arrows for directions.. We spent some time looking for tee boxes. There was not beverage cart running and there is no break after the 9th hole for a beer or hot dog. All these things are acceptable but the price w…

Great course, well maintained and fun to play. Only real complaint is the lack of yardage markers on the holes. Also a little tricky to navigate but not too hard. Def will come back
