What People Say

In summary

Riverton Golf Club receives praise for its challenging and varied 9-hole course layout, reasonable pricing, and the unique offering of cart rentals for disc golf, which many find enhances the experience. The club has made noticeable improvements under new management, with ongoing efforts to upgrade facilities and course conditions. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about maintenance issues, such as the condition of sand traps and greens, as well as occasional negative encounters with staff or other patrons.

One of our favorite courses. Lots of challenging holes. Lots of variety. Lots of I feel good before I throw my t-shot

This is only disc golf course I know of that has carts for rental which makes it really special. Very excited to enjoy “The Riv” disc golf with the new carts. It was always worth the rental fee. There is cool wildlife including beavers and birds of prey.

First time playing here. You can tell that it has seen some rough times, and you can also see that they're doing a lot to improve it. I like the layout. A little more interesting/challenging than most of the 9 hole courses in the area. The conditions are "work in progress". The greens were a little long and pretty bumpy. A solid 4⭐️ for $12 and on it's on its way to a 5.

The Town recently stepped in and took over management of this quaint 9 hole course. Since then they have been doing a ton getting the course up to top top shape after the shut down due to the "Great Cough". They have worked hard on updating and/or repairing irrigation as needed as well as working on the bunkers. While the "clubhouse" is bare bones (if anything), there is already a plan to build a replacement building to have updated and usable facilities and a plan to have food on site as well. Can't wait for the new clubhouse when it's done, should add more to the experience (both golfing or…

For opening day, not to bad! My favorite disc golf course in Henrietta. Needs a little attention and they need to figure out the membership

For the price for 9 and cart it’s on the same level as county. Much better than a few years ago before the town took over. Enjoyable even when you stink at golf like myself !

The course isn't very well designed the only thing I like about it is the baskets and the tee pads other than that awful course

Good local course. They have been making alot of improvements the last 2 years since the town took it over. Still have work to do but it's still a nice local course.

Horrible environment, constant construction and unnecessary noise, bad maintenance for the course, rude staff, charged an extra 10 dollars just to use two carts when we had three people for no reason, constantly rushed by people behind us, overall horrible experience and I will never come back to this place. Just shot 15+ btw.

Best 9 hole course i have ever played. It is a challenging course, with 2 lakes to swallow bad shots. Great views and not too far from the Thruway. Only costs 15$ to walk, so it is also very reasonably priced.

We came here hoping for a good experience playing disc golf at a course with carts! We ended up being harassed by an unnecessarily rude patron who accused us of not paying the cart fee. He pulled us over on our way to the course and told us it is $7 per seat not per cart. We were baffled, since we just paid and they gave us carts. But, not wanting to argue, we promised to stop by the club house after our game to make sure we were following the rules. Turns out we were the only ones doing so. The bar was crowded, people were not socially distant and no one was wearing masks. COVID central! No t…
