Chili Country Club

(Posting on behalf of my dad) My son and I went to Rock Bottom Golf for the first time yesterday and had an exceptional experience thanks to Matt D. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient helping my son select clubs. It was obvious to us that Matt really enjoys what he does. A five star review doesn't seem to be enough. I highly recommend anyone looking for clubs goes to Rock Bottom Golf and works with Matt.

I had a great experience with a fitting with Rob! I'm left handed so options are always limited. I told him I was frustrated with my driver. He measured me for length to discover I was a petite. He also explained better form, and driver lofts. (Fairly new still, and don't know all the intricate details about loft variations on drivers). We had to improvise because there are minimal options for me. He worked really hard to help me find something that not only would work for me, but to try and price match the set I decided I wanted. Patient, laid back, and fun to work with!

I’m taking the time to write an online review because the guys at the Rock Bottom Golf pro shop here are absolutely phenomenal. They single handedly turned around a mess of a situation for me, and made my entire weekend. I ordered a club off the eBay site from their warehouse, and was sent the wrong handed club as well as the wrong shaft on top of it. Found out they have a flagship store in my city, and went (with the expectation of just wanting a refund) to return it in store where the guys quickly made the whole situation right by finding the club I ordered from the start in their store. Sean is AWESOME! Super knowledgeable and passionate about helping people enjoy golf! He is a club nerd with a personality that can adapt to every client and meet them where they are. Overall a genuinely great guy! I'm super happy with my new equipment and really appreciate my experience of the process!

Rock Bottom Golf at this location has an amazing inventory of new and used clubs, clothing, and other golf gear. McKenzie there was very helpful. They let you use the range and simulator to try out the used clubs. Extremely reasonable prices. My adult son purchased a Driver and I purchased a Fairway Wood. Well worth the trip from Penn Yan.

Great course, well maintained with some fun and challenging holes. Awesome pro shop with kind and knowledgeable pros and a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed playing here and can't wait to get back. Highly recommended for golf or the pro shop.

Nice staff, very affordable. Was ony 26.00 for 9 holes and a cart. Definitely some unique line ups for drives with large trees. Fun coarse overall. Didn't try the food but the menu looks great.

Attended the town of chili bicentennial gala today. The country club was welcoming and had nice facilities. Food was great with one exception. The roast beef was dry. It was like they forgot to bring out the au juice... Go Chili!

I visited this cc after hearing mixed reviews and unfortunately, my experience aligns with the less favorable ones. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but the issues were hard to overlook . The customer service was bad and staff members seemed bothered and even dismissive at times. It feels as if guests were considered more of an inconvenience to them than valued patrons. It gave me Office Space vibes and I don't even work there. The course itself was serviceable: but not impressive... at all—some areas seemed neglected, and it was clear that attention to detail and care for grounds…

Best pro shop in Rochester! Have been seeing Sean for club fitting since before it was RBG and Morgan’s CC. Him and rob are great! Very knowledgeable, and more than just a retail pro shop. Stop in just to chat most weekends when I can. Golf course was in great shape when we played too.

I have not been here since the new ownership. My friend brought me here to play for my late birthday and I had the worst golf experience of my life. The staff seemed annoyed and were rude and muttered at me as I walked out to practice on the range. The inside of the shop was very updated, which was nice at the least. Don't expect good customer service, course was in okay shape I guess, but you will notice the obvious disregard for certain procedures. I will not be returning to this establishment.

This is hands down the best place to get fit for new clubs in Rochester. These guys love golf and are not just retail workers. They have everything you need and if you book a fitting with Sean Reardon he will find the perfect fit for you and your swing. Cant wait to hit my Titleist irons on the course.
