In summary

Riverside Golf Course is highly praised for its excellent practice facilities, including a well-maintained putting green, heated hitting bays, and a variety of indoor and outdoor options that cater to golfers looking to improve their short game. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and accommodating nature, enhancing the overall experience. However, some visitors note that the par 3 course and grass tees could benefit from better maintenance, and the parking lot has been criticized for its condition.

It's cheap, $12 for the par 3 course. The par 3 course is about what you should expect for $12.

Excellent practice facility in Indianapolis. Putting green is massive and well maintained. 2 separate short game chipping greens, which are less maintained but very convenient and seldom busy. Lots of room for so pretty decent short game work, if that’s your thing. Driving range is great and they are often off grass sooner than other ranges in the area. Grass and mat options, indoor and outdoor hitting bays available. They also have a great par 3 course with some pretty challenging shots. They also have an indoor putting green and 2 simulator bays. Basically everything you could possibly want…

Good range that is both open as well as bays that are covered with heaters. Two very nice simulators inside that I would recommend calling ahead to check availability especially during the winter. Cold beer for range times and simulator play. Also, there is a short 9 hole course. Love it, just went today!!

This place is a great set up. It’s spread out with key features and all you could ask for with the driving range, indoor options, and putting. Friendly staff. The only suggestion would be to invest a bit with the tee boxes on the Par 3 course - mowing out areas and adding markers would make it even more enjoyable. Course was in great shape after that as a Par 3.

I've always enjoyed this place. Never busy and isn't a very tough course.

The 9 hole par 3 is a great place to work on your short. The greens are very ROUGH, but it's a lovely walk through the trees!

Great indoor practice and heated hitting bays for bad weather and cold temps. 2 indoor simulators. Do not go here to hit balls off grass. Grass tees are never taken care of and see too much traffic. Putting green is extremely slow and holds a lot of water. Chipping area is average at best. Parking lot entrance looks like it was bombed. Pot holes everywhere and been like this for 2 years. Always nice staff working.

Nice heated stalls & plenty of targets on the range. Prices are fair. The indoor practice putting green is kind of silly in my opinion. It must be running a 30 on the Stimp lol!!! Nice place. Will definitely be back!

I didn’t play any golf here, but allow me to tell you a quick story. My family and I live in Northwest Indiana and we’re driving through Indy on our way back from a late Christmas vacation. Our car’s alternator went out on us and I coasted into Riverside’s parking lot. I had my wife, my 5 month old, and black lab with a bunch of luggage, so as we scrambled to get a tow truck and contact a friend to get us home, the staff here allowed us to hang out for a while… doggo included. They were friendly, accommodating, and understand customer service better than many. Come for the golf, stay for some…
