In summary

River Ridge Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful and well-maintained course, interesting layout, and excellent food at the on-site restaurant. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with a variety of holes that allow players to use different clubs. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play and unprofessional behavior from certain staff members, particularly in the pro shop, which has detracted from their overall experience.

Went to Tillis Pub. Very good drinks and the fishamagig sandwich was excellent! The classic burger very nicely cooked. And the staff were great too!

Lets get this out of the way, this track has the best food of ANY course I have ever been to. The track is fun! It allows you to use every club in your bag. You don't always have to tee off with you driver on a par 4 or par 5. The last four holes are a blast.

Great layout, fairways and greens are in good shape, some of the tee boxes are a bit rough but that's summer for you. Nice pace of play. A bit of a hike if you walk it, allot of ups and downs. I'll play again!

Nice course. Food and beer selection is first rate. Unfortunately today the greens were slower than any I've played all season.

Awful experience. The course itself was beautiful and well maintained. However, the staff was absolutely awful. Extremely rude and completely ruined our experience on the back 9. It was a gentleman by the name of Fred or Frank or something like that. This was our first trying this course and will never return. Do not recommend this course.

Great course! Challenging but not punishing. The greens are in wonderful shape. You want to stay below the hole as the greens are fast and tiered.

Love this course. We play here often. Front 9 is mostly flat and straight. Back 9 is all hills. Fun and moderately challenging. The food is great at the restaurant. The pro shop is down back of the clubhouse.

The course itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the restaurant is great — solid food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, what stood out most during our visit wasn’t the golf, but the unprofessionalism in the pro shop. I played here with my dad a few weeks ago, and when he inquired about a membership, the attendant, Martin, responded with “whoa whoa whoa, slow down” in a tone that was unnecessarily rude and condescending. My father is incredibly calm and respectful — there was nothing aggressive about the question. It felt dismissive and uncalled for. After our experience, I looked…
