Putnam County Golf Course

This was my first time playing at this golf course. The autumn leaves were at their peak, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was quite windy, and the view was so stunning that it was hard to stay focused on golf, but the course itself was excellent. Compared to other courses, I noticed two things about this one: First, it didn’t seem to have too many bunkers. Second, the distance between the white tees and the red tees wasn’t that big, which made it a bit of a challenge for me — but I really enjoyed the round.

Played this scenic and challenging track as part of the AM Tour golf league two weeks ago. I was fortunate enough to play well and notch my 8th win in 5 years. This course is relatively flat despite being located upstate about 1.5 hours from lower Manhattan. It is walker-friendly except for the 7th hole known as "Star" that should be renamed as "Cardiac Hill" that probably had a 40 degree uphill slope. The signature hole for me was the "Bullet hole" #12, a diabolical short 140 yard Par 3 that had at least 3 ridges bisecting the green. I made the mistake of hitting over the green to an imp…

The course was in incredible shape. The food was amazing and the staff were all great. Will definitely be coming back here all summer!

Great venue, fantastic! Bea, saw Abba tribute last Friday night and it was sensational. Sky with you but no lots of staff to help whenever needed, hundreds of people it was a night to remember under the Stars.. I gave it a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First time playing this wonderful public course in Putnam County. Beautiful scenery along with well kept fairways. Challenging enough to make play enjoyable. Will definitely play here again.

Great layout and a very well maintained golf course. Played the white tees and a enjoyable challenging course The staff within the pro shop and restaurant were kind, friendly, and welcoming. the beverage cart was very available and active

The golf course is well run and worth a visit. I played in May 2021 and there was nothing to complain about. The fairways are wide open and greens are well-maintained. The course is on the long side; several par 4s are almost 400 yards and several par 5s of 500 yards. Snack bars had a good selection of food in the clubhouse (convenient to the 10th tee). Golf carts had a good GPS app but be careful: the carts will shut down if you get within shouting distance of the green.

Matt was a great starter who got us out on time. Very helpful loading our bags onto a clean cart. Great course with an awesome staff!!

Attended for the Friday Evening BBQ and concerts. Great BBQ especially the Ribs with great music.

My Job had an event here. The staff and service was amazing.

We went for Mothers day brunch. Everything was delicious. The mimosas were excellent. We were a family of 5 with 3 children and they were all happy and full. The buffet had a wide range of delicious selections. It was well organized and a beautiful venue. We are hoping they have a Father's day option so we can return 5/5 .
