In summary

Park Mammoth Golf Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, scenic layout featuring dramatic elevation changes, and friendly, accommodating staff. Visitors appreciate the unique amenities, such as free access to practice facilities and thoughtful touches like clean towels on carts. While most find the experience worth the cost, some express concerns about the high weekend rates and occasional slow pace of play due to lack of course marshals.

Played the Little Mammoth par 3. Uniqueness: You get a “range cart” to get there(it’s not walking distance from check in), but you park it and leave it between the driving range and 1st hole of the par 3. Free access to the driving range, putting green, and chipping green. They also provide a free “Sunday bag” (the red one in photo) for you to not have to carry your full bag or clubs. I brought my own, which in glad I did because there isn’t much to those red ones. But hey, it’s a nice free option. Condition: Course was in great shape, tee boxes were good, fairways were fantastic, greens were…

What an incredible golf course. I love that the whole course is visible from so many high points and the routing just works so well with the land. The awesome green complexes here have both subtle and not-so-subtle elements to thrill and delight once the ball is on the ground. Park Mammoth has almost no water hazards to speak of, but beware the high native fescue! It can sometimes be just as penal as a pond in that same area! Love the new clubhouse, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. A clean sweat towel on the carts for each player is a really nice touch to elevate the expe…

This was my first time playing Park Mammoth and it has a mixed review from me. I’ll start with the positives first. I thought the course was in great shape and well maintained. The views on the course were great with the big hills and rolling terrain the course sits on. Everyone on the staff I talked to was nice and helpful. I found the course to be playable for golfers of all skill levels. Now for some negatives. I played on a weekend in July and the cost was $120. I found this to be a bit excessive for what the course offered. To start, the course was only 6,200 yds from the tips. So if you…

What a fantastic course! I had this place recommended by some local Golf pros, and I wasn't let down. Wide open and well-kept greens along with very helpful staff. Definitely worth a trip to see this place and play eighteen. Driving range and bulls are also included with your purchase for a helpful warm up.

I come down from the northeast every year to play in an event here put on by The High Cotton Club and the course is so fun to play. The grounds crew does an excellent job of keeping it in phenomenal shape. It’s a bit of a ride from Nashville but definitely worth making the trip out from there if you’re looking to play some golf while visiting.

Park Mammoth Golf Club is a scenic gem nestled in the Kentucky hills. The course is incredibly beautiful, with dramatic elevation changes and several breathtaking tee shots that make for a memorable round. Fairways and greens were in great shape, though the rough could be a bit inconsistent in places. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Pace of play was comfortable, and the layout offers a fun mix of challenges and vistas—especially on the back nine. Absolutely worth the visit.

Little Mammoth Par 3 - Hadn't see a review so wanted to get it out there. This par 3 is tucked back in a relatively shaded area on a decent slope near the front of the property. To access it, (or the range) you'll need to grab a cart for the short drive. The 9 course is walking only, but don't stress over carrying your full bag, the staff offers par-3 mini bags that were perfect for just the 4-5 clubs you'll need. Holes range 80-125 yards so our group joked about bringing just 1-2 wedges + putter and that would have been a big mistake. Many of the holes play severely up or down the slope forci…

$120 on Saturday morning which could be ok except it was a full golf course and NO RANGER! A threesome full of alcohol and no golf etiquette held up half the course. I will never play there again on a weekend. Get it together Guys!!!

From the minute I got there, it was a great experience. I was told about the course while playing at a similar type course in Nashville, otherwise I wouldn't have known about it. I have a bucket list to play 18 in every state and I'm proud to say this was my Kentucky round. I was greeted by two gentlemen who brought a cart to my car for me. They were very friendly and helpful. They also have an app for GPS distances which was great considering my others didn't have the course. Coming up from Nashville I got there much earlier than expected and they were able to get me out in front of 2 foursom…

Played 10/1/25 Very glad I didn’t let few negative reviews deter me from playing this Gem. Course was in amazing condition , greens and fairways were perfect. This is a very different kind of track, while it is short that doesn’t mean it’s not challenging! Lots of elevation changes and greens are absolutely MAMMOTH. Couple reasons for only 4 stars , the lack of hole signs makes it very difficult for a first timer to know exactly where to go, the lack of a card showing pin placement should be absolutely mandatory being the size and undulation of these greens. Shot placement is key to this cours…

Wonderful place! We played it on our way to Nashville. It's a beautiful layout that's sneaky long. The scorecard says 6250ish from the tips, but the elevation change and mix of long par 3's and 4's mixed with short par 4's and only 2 par 5's will make up for the scorecard length. We played after a biblical downpour so it was quite difficult. The staff was wonderful. We asked if it Would be possible to change from our sweaty clothes and were directed to their fully appointed, brand new shower facilities in their locker room. Such a welcome treat!
