In summary

Crosswinds Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained fairways, greens, and tee boxes, offering a challenging yet enjoyable layout with helpful staff and reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have experienced inconsistent customer service and course maintenance, with reports of poor communication regarding course conditions and occasional dissatisfaction with the facilities. Despite these issues, many find it a good value for a public course, though improvements in service and amenities could enhance the overall experience.

They do a good job put here keeping the course in good shape. The fairways greens and tee boxes are generally well maintained above typical municipal course standards. Greens are big and not too challenging. No driving range but the putting green and chipping green are nice. Id give it 5 stars if it had a driving range

Played 18 today. Course was in good shape. Dry in spots, couple greens had been aerated. Found the staff to be very nice. Saw a guy toss a putter into the water on #17. Found the ball in the picture, gave it to the counter guy, made him laugh.

Nice public course...played here in a company golf scramble and the course did a great job running the scramble. Accuracy is the key at this course at the fairways are small and the greens are even smaller. Greens seem to be very slow as well but rolls pretty true. There was some inconsistency on some greens....some hard and the ball wouldn't stop...the next would plug almost like a fairway. Enjoyed the outing and this course...proshop and facilities were nice as well. Nice place for a stop in and play as well.

The carts have GPS in them with a LCD screen that shows you how far you are from the hole and other hazards at all times. Absolutely love this golf course. Call ahead and schedule a tee time it's usually pretty packed.

Beautiful course terrible customer service!! Our family played their annual scrimmage here - we had 4 foursomes play 18 holes - bought a lot from the snack shop and several items from the pro shop - bought a titelist glove at the beginning - it ripped in half by hole 9. Pro shop REFUSED to do anything about it. As an owner of a business myself I could not believe this! Don’t sell things in your shop if you can’t stand behind your products. Next year we’ll take our family elsewhere.

Played the front 9 twice. Had a decent experience the first round. The course is laid out a little weird. Sometimes it’s like your driving right towards a hole where other people are about to tee off right at you. Some of their landscaping covers signage and you could turn the wrong way. However, that is some minimal things that a golfers can get over. Unfortunately, during my second round, it didn’t go as well. We arrived and paid for a full nine holes for two of us. I understand that courses go through times where they are improving things. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was no commun…

Fun and challenging course with great rates. The staff was friendly and the course was in good condition. I liked the putting and chipping area. They were hosting a outing this morning but were still very helpful and got us out at our tee time. Greens and fairways looked good. The layout is nice with the amount of water around the area.

This is definitely a fun 18 hole course to play in BG I just wish the staff were more friendly and fair. On hole 12 the course management drove by and informed us we were parked too close to the tee box, we quickly apologized and moved our cart. He then proceeded to drive behind us and park directly on top of the black tees while watching us the rest of the hole. I understand we were unknowingly in the wrong but please practice what you preach. The greens are also a little inconsistent from hole to hole.

I golfed here on 4/28/15 and the course could use some work. I liked the layout of the holes and the greens were in pretty good condition (8/10) but the tee boxes and fairways had too much dirt and weeds to my liking. If the course would fix these two issues I would give them a better rating.

The course is nice. The practice area is actually better than most nearby private courses. I’m in bg every month or two and like to play here. The course is a 4/5. The customer service is a 2/5. No one in parking lot. No one on practice green. No one on first tee box. No one in first fairway. No one on first green. No one on second tee. But 2 hour wait. Obviously tee times has canceled. But instead of looking out the window and letting me play, just looked at computer “looks like we’re packed” lol. I guess you can get away being rude when you’re the only 18 hole public Course in the city. Head…
