In summary

Orchards Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, affordable rates, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both new and experienced golfers. The course's layout, with its mix of par 3s and par 4s, offers a strategic challenge in a picturesque setting. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional maintenance oversights, such as grass clippings left on the fairways, which can detract from the overall experience.

Went on Father's Day, a little crowded at first, but it's a beautiful course. We rented a cart, but most of the golfers were walking the course. Par was and par 4's

One of the best 9 hole courses in Ct. If you are a new or a regular golfer great place to tune up your game.

Pro shop was quite friendly. $20.25 for non resident rate is affordable and the course was in overall good shape. Will play again!

I liked this golf course when I lived in CT over 3 years ago now... About every 6-12 months they re-sign me up for their email list (and seemingly distribute my email to others since I get emails from other courses around the same time). I must have unsubscribed 5+ times at this point. Do not give this organization your email address! Use a throwaway if you're using their online booking software.

Perfect for newer golfers. More at a decent pace for a course like this.

The price is right. 20$ for 9 holes walking. The course plays fast and eventhough its short you really need to think about every shot to strategically get on the green and putt for par.

Very fun par three course. Great way to spend the evening and makes for a great event place.

Good fun executive course. Great for new players and older ones. But painfully slow play and Rude manager who multiple times has tried to kick people out while still playing because they wanted to close gate, though do nothing to speed up play or warn people who are playing around, no edicate and are creating the hold ups. The rest of the staff is retired ones who are very pleasant. But pace is tough to deal with. Even for a course for older or new players

Orchards is a lovely small course. A few tight approaches and par-4 holes with big angles favor short, technical play. Depending on when in the season, the green textures are not always great. The trees live up to the name and it's a beautiful place to play. The fee is a steal as well. Overall a fantastic value for me as a golfer who's not much of a big hitter.

I love this course its in the best shape I've seen it in in years. Its an executive course with 5 Par 4's and four Par 3's. The greens are large and all in great shape. A great walking course. Pace of play can be slow on really busy days as there is no ranger to get people moving. Staff is always friendly. You can't beat the price, they also have a loyalty program that allows non residents to play at the resident rate
