Oak Harbor Golf Club

Great golf experience at Oak Harbor Golf Club. The layout is fantastic with a surprisingly hilly design for this area, which makes the course very interesting and fun to play. The elevation changes give many holes a unique character and great views around the course. The greens were absolutely fantastic—very smooth, fast, and among the best I’ve played recently. If you like quick greens, this course will definitely challenge your putting. The staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Pace of play was reasonable, making for an enjoyable round from start to finish.

As the title said I only paid $30 for 18. The driving range was closed due to previous heavy rains. The warm up green was on target for pace and conditions. The greens were in amazing shape but the fairways less so. I took some pictures of the current conditions. There were numerous points on the course where there was standing water and make shift ponds. The bunkers appeared to be in good condition too. Great layout, there’s a few stretches where it has very very birdie-able holes and then holes that feel impossible to par. Greens are in fantastic shape. I’m not lying, go check it out for yourself. The fairways and bunkers could use some work. The fact that the greens are in literal perfect shape and the course layout is so fun and solid I’d say it’s worth a trip!

Played course on November 10th, 2023. I left New Orleans in 2021. Although course is not bad it's definitely not as well kept as it used to be. The practice area not bad but the driving range barely has any grass on it. The tee boxes need a lot more attention and clean up. Most tee boxes had broken tees everywhere and pretty much just sand hills. The fairway's were pretty dry through with patches and cracking throughout. Had to skip several holes due to the grounds crew. Finished my round and asked the pro shop what I should do and they suggested that like other golfers I should play all 18 holes in a row. While my mind was exploding, I tried to find a simple way to explain to him that it was my intention to play 18 holes of golf in a row, and it took great effort by multiple people to prevent me from doing that. This is one of the nicest looking courses I have been too. It is big and it is very well kept up. The membership is more expensive than other places but like I said it is bigger too. My guys love playing this course.

Challenging course, tight fairways with water on almost every hole. Had a great time. Would be five star if they had a cart girl to purchase drinks and snacks from.

Wonderful experience. Management and staff are impeccable. Challenging course. Will go back. My favorite go to course.

Played here today for the first time . Took the forty min drive from New Orleans and was really surprised. Course has a few fairways that have unplayable areas but I have to say it was great . 55 plus on a Tuesday get a deal for $29 and it is well worth the money . Greens were rolling well and it does have some interesting holes with nearly every hole having water hazards . Will be back , really enjoyed . Staff in the pro shop were great and piper in the bar was fun to talk to

None of the membership costs are accurate on your website. It would take less than 5 minutes to make the corrections on line by the web master. That would be be helpful as we look for options in the area.

It’s very challenging and the greens are always in great shape. The staff at Oak Harbor, especially the owner. Mr. Justin are always very kind to me and overly supportive. Our group had high hopes for our annual golf outing at Oak Harbor, but the course management let us down big time. We made specific arrangements, confirmed by the staff, to have cart girls assist us during our round. After spending a large amount of money and starting our game, we were abruptly told this was no longer allowed. It’s unacceptable to change the rules after taking our money. Oak Harbor’s lack of communication and integrity ruined what was supposed to be a great day. I recommend avoiding this course if you want an enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
