I have been going to Norvelt Golf Club for about 2 years the food is great the fairways are absolutely beautiful and the greens are what you should expect. There are no dry spots on any of the greens so when you have a nice second shot you won't hit a dry spot and have a horrible bounce. I recommend their chicken wrap after a long game.

Updated 8/11/25. I had the first tee time on a Monday morning. Everyone I encountered in the clubhouse and on the course was courteous and friendly. The clubhouse is very nice for a stop during or after your round. The course itself was in fair shape for this time of year with little rain the past two weeks. Mtce was out watering greens to keep them in good shape, with the exception of more than a few pitch marks. On two holes my putt hit one I didn’t see and made a left turn after hitting it. There were many broken tees on the tee boxes likely from a busy weekend. I did see a mtce worker raki…

Great local course, fairly priced, Luke's Links is good for beginners, restaurant has good food and drinks. Just with the tee times were spread out a bit more, sometimes it gets backed up too much.

We golf here every chance we get. Both courses are always very well maintained, the staff is always friendly, the prices are fair across the board, the carts are clean and maintained. It’s a hidden gem in the area. Everyone that plays there are very friendly and patient.

Great place to golf. Love Lukes Links. You can usually get 9 holes in about 2 hours and it's a fun little 9 to play. Still challenging even though it's short. The regular 18 is great to play too if you have more time. The restaurant has really good food also.

Other than having to wait over 30 minutes after our scheduled tee time, I liked it. Fairly open. Hilly. Decent greens. Bunkers. Good carts. Ample parking. Well maintained. Nice clubhouse. Seems well run. I remain a bit dubious about the tee times. They seemed to follow an 8 minute spacing, which utterly broke down with people coming off the back nine (they had teed off of the 10th tee to start their rounds) then crowding the front 9. That may have been an anomaly, or not.

I have been playing golf at Norvelt for 20 years with my dad. We’ve spent over $400 there this year alone golfing at our favorite course. Unfortunately, my dad met the owner's son Luke tonight and he was a total jerk to my dad. After being told by the guy from the clubhouse that it would be okay for us to play a couple extra holes on Lukes Links (7:30 pm), that the group in front of us was practicing, and that it would probably be okay if we played through as long as we had the cart back by 8:30 pm, we proceeded to play a few more holes. Luke was part of the group in front of us that was pract…

Well maintained and a challenging course. The rough is thick and greens are lightning fast. If you don't hit the fairways making a par is an exceptional result you can hope for. The sand bunkers are well maintained and the staff is friendly. The clubhouse has some good food and drink options with some daily specials!
