A beautiful and historic country club on lovely grounds. They have both a friendly and professional staff. There is a piano both upstairs and downstairs, multiple fireplaces, and multiple bars. They feature what looked like a very nice pool, though I wasn't able to check it out due to the inclement weather. Arnold Palmer is featured extensively throughout, both in pictures and in name. I appreciated the fresh cut flowers throughout the building!

Absolutely fantastic! Rented a house on the course which provided golf privileges on the private course. Stayed in Deacon's View which was incredible inside and out. 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a spacious living area and kitchen downstairs. The backyard is amazing and has a pool. It overlooks the 2nd green, 3rd hole, 17th green and 18th tee. The best feature of the house was the massive amount of Arnold Palmer memorabilia on the walls. Very special. The course was beautiful, well maintained and challenging yet forgiving. The staff is incredible and very welcoming. We will be re…

Bucket list visit to Arnie's home course did not disappoint. Seeing his personal locker, knowing he spent so much time here was a truly rewarding experience, sharing the time there with my son's was awesome.

My 1st time playing Arnild Palmer's place! Fun and unique experience. Course not long but quite demanding. Fairways are TIGHT with wiids lining most fairways. Greens are small and ondulating...fairly quick. Yku must be below the holes! Very hilly with lots of blind shots ...so course plays longer that distance on the card. Try it....you'll enjoy it.

Arnies place. What else to say? Greens were tough. Left allot of strokes up there. Staff was great, course was well maintained. Make the trip.

A very nice private club where Arnold Palmer had his roots. Lots of cool Arnie stuff to see. The course is very well maintained. It's a nice if somewhat hilly layout. A little cramped but definitely worth playing even without the Arnie connection.

I had planned my visit to Latrobe to show my respects to Mr. Palmer and his legacy. He is the reason I started and continue to play golf. When I arrived the staff was very kind. One of the employees (Jim) took the time to show me the facility and explain the history of Latrobe Country Club. I particularly enjoyed the stories about Mr Palmer's time at the club. Thank you Jim for making my visit so memorable. Latrobe is a special place.

Four couples made reservations for a golf weekend at Latrobe Country Club. We started the process in the spring this year because we wanted to stay in one of the guest homes on the property. We selected Deacon's View as it is a four-bedroom, 4 bath home at Latrobe Country Club. We were so fortunate in "the summer of rain" to have a spectacularly beautiful sunny weekend! Deacon's View is a fabulous home. The living rooms and kitchens are so large and comfortable. The outside decks, screened porch and private pool are major features! The home has every amenity including hair dryers, personal pro…

Some of the best dinner, service, golf and golf shop ever. Was lucky enough to meet Arnold's sister! She was just a gem. We laughed as we complimented each other's dress! Got 2 other couples for my husband's 60th to stay and play golf as a surprise. We all had the best time. Thank you all, friends and Latrobe patrons for a perfect weekend.

Other than being Arnie's place and it's corresponding importance to golf, the course itself is not a 'must play' layout. It's hilly and narrow but not long or very well designed. Traps are routinely left and right of each green but rarely anywhere else. Sits in a scenic valley which is a plus. Small pro shop really more like a gift shop. Friendly people which you'd expect in the rural midwest. But of you are near, it's hallowed ground.
