In summary

Northwinds Golf Course is widely praised for its beautiful setting, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout that demands precision, especially with its tight fairways and tree-lined holes. The course is noted for its scenic views and the friendly, welcoming staff, making it a favorite among both locals and visitors. However, some players mention that certain tee boxes could benefit from leveling, and the bunkers might need improvement, but these issues do not significantly detract from the overall enjoyable experience.

Tuff course for a wknd warrior like myself but the challenge was enjoyable. Not all fairways were tight but a couple times I lost 4 balls just trying to tee off haha! Found plenty of balls in the woods so I came out about even on Golf balls for the day. Beautiful course that was well kept with almost perfect greens. Employees were also very nice and it was a beautiful day with not many ppl around. I'd recommend anyone to try Peninsula @ Northwinds. Thanks for the great round.

This course is beautiful and The views are amazing. Almost every home forces you to shape the ball one way or another. Hitting driver out of a 75 yard chute gets the heart pumping. Hitting the trees will cost you a shot plus distance wich makes it tough to score well. All 4 par 3's are AMAZING. My only complaint is they need to level the tee boxes. Or maybe it was suppose to be that way on the blue tee's. I didn't really look at the white tee's. I will make the 1 hour drive several times this summer. Loved it.

We only played 9 (front), was fun 9 to play. Overall was in good shape, issues on course here and there but not dealing with tees, Greens, Fairways. The few holes on back nine you can see look to be in same shape as front. Plus its Arnies first design.....Played back 9 the past weekend, again cant say anything bad about it, kinda nice to wind thru the woods and past the airstrip to get to next hole. Like front few issue here and there...best part of both rounds is ,you feel like you have whole course to yourself at times.

Played 36 here a few weeks ago and was very pleased. Colby in pro shop super nice and helpful, course in great shape for october, greens rolled very true, fairways plush..and reasonable price. Had a great time,

Both the peninsula course at Northwinds and Indian Lakes are beautiful. If you don’t keep it in the fairway you most likely will be punished by the trees that line many of the golf holes. The greens are fast but roll very true… speed is critical when putting on them and if you cannot get a handle on it you will have a tough time. I highly recommend adding these to your golf group’s list.

Great routing, greens were in good condition and rolled well. Bunkers were less then favorable but overall enjoyable conditions. Played last two years and will be back next summer. Worth it~

This course is amazing!!! Came in from out of town and I fell in love. The view on hole #5 is spectacular. The greens had some tricky reads but rolled true. The fairways are tight so if you have a tendency of spraying your tee shot bring extra balls. 10/10 will play again!!

July, 2020 - Arnie's first! A hidden gem carved thru the southern PA mountains on Indian Lake. It's in great shape. Tight fairways, rolling terrain, bring your A game, you'll need it! It's 10 minutes away from the Flight 93 Memorial and there are other nice courses in the area!
