In summary

Sliding Rock Golf Course is praised for its friendly and welcoming staff, affordable pricing, and scenic views, making it a popular choice for beginners and budget-conscious golfers. The course layout, while challenging for novices, features short holes and small greens, which some experienced players might find less appealing. A few visitors mention maintenance issues such as overgrown greens and limited parking, but overall, the course offers a pleasant and enjoyable golfing experience.

If your beginner looking for an affordable place to play and have a good time, this place isn’t a bad choice. If your pretty good player looking for a top of the line course, this may not be a good fit. Holes are pretty short, greens are slow and small. Not in the best shape but not terrible. Give it a five stars bc we had a group of 5 and they let us play and were super friendly! Good price and a good time just enjoying the views and some golf.

The staff are very friendly. The cost of golf is affordable. The holes are short and the greens are small but you have to know how to place the ball to end up with a decent score.

Great place to get out and hit the ball! Kathy and Mark are very welcoming and friendly. Mark walked me through the layout of the course before we tee'd off. I will visit again when we are in the area! And will hopefully have a license plate that says "The-Eric"!!!

Our favorite place to golf. Its a difficult course, but has spectacular views, and will test your skill level. The terrain is a bit rough compared to more expensive courses, but it gets the job done. Staff is super friendly, and the carts always work properly.

A very solid 9-hole course... I'm told this is a great learners course, and as a learner, I have to say it was fun, challenging (Hole #5 in particular), and easy to get around. Customer service in the house that doubles as a clubhouse was super friendly and helpful. The only nit I have is that the greens sure were in need of some cutting as the grass was higher than I had experienced in other places. Other than that, I will look forward to coming back, many times.

Nice cheap little course, this is a good beginner’s course. My only concern with it is there’s absolutely zero parking when they’re busy, which is often.

Had a great time playing nine holes on friday @ sliding rock recently before lunch. This was a challenging course, over hill n dale and delightful owners plus very reasonably priced.

The golf course was pretty nice the prices were very reasonable, and after the first day rained out they they let us come up again to finish our 18 hole game without any extra charge. Two of the greens though were pretty beat up but overall it was nice game of golf. The staff is very friendly as well.

A nice course layout for a budget golfer. Great customer service. The greens are very small. A challenging course for a novice golfer and a chance for a under par round for a skilled player.

Just learning how to golf with the family and stopped out there today. Met Mark and he is a great guy. Had a blast and will definitely be back!
