In summary

New Albany Golf Links is often praised for its challenging and well-maintained layout, with many golfers appreciating the condition of the greens and the overall course design. The staff is generally regarded as friendly, and the course offers good value for its pricing. However, some visitors have noted issues with bunker conditions and occasional slow play, and there are mixed reviews about the course's condition, with some citing poor maintenance and high fees as concerns.

Used to play this course all the time but the course was in super bad shape for the last 2 years. It had been a while since I played so I decided to go back and see if got turned around. I can confirm that it is back in excellent condition. Probably my favorite greens in Columbus. Love the layout as well.

Beautiful course and in great shape. Sharp and crisp fringes, rough didn't feel like playing out of weeds, and the fairway didnt feel like playing out of rough. The greens were sharp and fast. Overall, if I have the opportunity to play here again, I absolutely will.

Absolutely loved this course, couldn’t beat $45 on a Sunday for 18 holes here. Best value I’ve gotten in a long time. Some holes are very challenging with water and bunkers all down the sides. I definitely will be looking to play here more often. The only complaint I would have is the sand. The bunkers are almost unplayable.

Course is in really good shape. Don’t let the people crying about a few brown spots scare you off. You will not find a better course for the money. My only complaint is the sand could be softer. I still rate the course a 5 star.

Course looks nice but playing it is a joke if you’re not a pro. $60 for half of our group to not even take most shots but still had the group behind us complain we were taking too long to the staff. Told us we were taking 20 shots per hole and couldn’t shoot in a group bigger than 4 even tho we paid for a wedding party.. worse the bathrooms were locked on the course but employees acted confused that they shouldn’t be locked?.. terrible experience.

Did not enjoy our golfing experience this past weekend, alot of new golfers in our group. Would've been better to of been told ahead of time our big group for the wedding wouldnt be doable, and even tho multiple members of our group didnt even get a chance to swing we were still being rushed along. Biggest regret is we didnt do something else as the groomsmen for the morning of the wedding, wont be trying to golf again I guess.

I have always loved the layout of this course but it is probably in the worst condition I have ever seen it. They are still charging $50+ to play which should be a crime considering how bad the conditions are. Bunkers filled with rocks and weeds, burnt out greens, and holes that have been taken over by geese. One hole had geese sh*t all over the green (see picture). Don't bother with this course. There are plenty of better courses in the area.

This used to be one of my favorite courses in central ohio. Not any more. Tee boxes are horrific. Greens are poor. I would basically say it qualifies as a dog track now. They should be embarrassed to charge what they do. I will not be back unless I hear from a credible source that things have changed. A year ago after playing New Albany Links I was very critical of the condition of the course. That was well deserved. Having just played the course today it is only fair that I give you a plus for changes made. You have made good progress over the last year. For the price it could still get bett…

Overpriced in my opinion, but I understand that if people are willing to pay these rates then they should charge them. Course is in significantly better shape than last summer. Good to see and will definitely be returning.

Great links course, very challenging if you dont hit the fairway. For as dry as its been the course was in great shape. Bunkers are placed right at driving landing zones, very strategic. Don't be fooled by the amount of par 4's that u think are drivable, the water will get you. 2 opportunities. A. A ranger to monitor slow play. B. For the price, install GPS on the carts.

A fun, challenging layout with tricky greens. The entire course was on good shape, especially the greens.
