What People Say

In summary

Mount Ogden Golf Course is highly praised for its stunning mountain views, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and well-maintained greens and fairways. Golfers appreciate the friendly staff and the course's strategic design, which requires careful shot placement. However, some visitors have reported negative experiences with customer service and noted issues with course maintenance and management, such as unauthorized play and restrictions on single bookings.

Tee’d off at 6:10. Beautiful course, tons of elevation. Keep the driver in the bag as this is a strategic course. If you can’t hit a fade or draw on demand this course could eat your lunch! I would highly recommend to anyone visiting to play this course more than once. I was only able to play it once on my vacation and was trying to find more time to play it again. Greens were fast and lots of slope. If you can hit it straight, placement is key to this course.

Mount Ogden Golf Course is a hidden gem! The layout is both challenging and enjoyable, with breathtaking views of the mountains. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, making for a great day on the course. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the clubhouse has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this course to golfers of all levels. I can’t wait to come back for another round!

Incredibly beautiful course that rates within the Top 5 of 274 courses I've played. Wickedly challenging - a course I could play every day and never get bored. I played it Monday, October 16, my third time in the Ogden area from WA. The views of the Salt Lake Valley and peaks to the east draped in Fall colors were spectacular! Very accommodating and friendly staff! Hope to return every Fall!

This is an amazing and beautiful course. The elevation changes are fun. This is a challenging course and the trees eat a lot of golf balls 😎

I've been here a few times. Only once has the interaction with an employee not been awful. Apparently they absolutely cannot book a single for a verifiable open tee time and tried pressuring me into booking with 3 others. I wouldn't mind if that was the only option available but there were several open slots around the time I requested to book. Aside from that course maintenance is going down hill. Unfortunate for a golf course on such great real estate.

It's hot this summer, this course has plenty of trees to keep you covered. I have been playing this course for the past couple years and keep coming back. Greens have always been pretty fast and difficult even for a seasoned golfer.

The course was in great shape but the tall guy working the front desk was so rude!!!! He needs a class on customer service. He must hate hos job to treat customers the way he did today. I've played Mt Ogden for years and never been trated so bad.

Beautiful yet challenging course. Not overly busy or hard to find tee time and pace of play was nice. I lost about a dozen balls on 18 holes and there’s quite a few narrow holes but the views are all simply amazing. I do prefer to walk more often than not but I would personally think twice before walking here. Maybe for 9 holes sure. The golf carts do not go out to the parking lot so walk your bags in. Cafe has some great food options for breakfast, at the turn, or to finish up after a round.

We played this course in early November, it was stunning with the mountain style golf and fall colors everywhere. It was a challenging course and you will lose your favorite golf balls.

🏌️‍♀️Watch out for poison ivy, stinging nettle and rattlesnakes if you decide to hunt down your lost golf balls. 🐍🌱🦔🌱🦝🌱🐕 Bring at least 10 golf Balls, unless you golf like Arnold Palmer. 🏌️‍♂️It's a Beautiful course below Malans Peak and Mt. Ogden. Much of the course is uphill, be prepared for a workout. Call FOUR on lost shots to be safe. Enjoy!

Courses in good shape. Unfortunately, other golfers were cutting through to play extra holes and the maintenance crew didn’t seem to care. Hard to support a course who lets people pay for 18 and play 27 all the while walking up on you or across the fairways.
