In summary

Mirror Lakes Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout and affordability, with many golfers finding it a good value for money. The staff is generally regarded as friendly, and the course offers a notable 707-yard par 6 hole. However, several visitors have pointed out maintenance issues, including slow greens, poor bunker conditions, and downed trees from past hurricanes. Some golfers have also experienced delays due to overbooking and scheduling issues.

Staff was very friendly and the course was in good condition except for the greens that have some sort of weed growing on several holes. Putts rolled pretty good but were slower on the greens that had more of that weed on them. I still enjoyed playing there and the price was reasonable for the conditions.

Course is not in good shape. Full of crab grass, even on many of the greens. Other greens were damaged by a machine that cut right across them. I like this course for its challenging course design but their maintenance is lacking. Downed palm trees blocking the cart paths in numerous locations- could have cut them off with a chain saw in 5 minutes to clear the cart path. Sand traps? There was no "sand" in any of the traps. It was hard, compressed dirt....really hard. One trap didnt even have a rake with it. You barely make foot prints when you walk on it. All the greens were VERY slow.

This course has a nice, very challenging layout. Long tough par 3's (5) and long par 5's (one is actually 707 yards from the back tee). But there is still a lot of hurricane damage (trees down) throughout the course. Also some damage on a few of the greens, with the rest being very slow. Holes have lot of traps, which haven't been raked in a long time. But for the price it is worth playing.

Here's the dilemma......you have a choice in the golfing market. You can select a higher quality golf experience and pay a higher greens fee OR you can select a lower quality golf experience and pay a lower greens fee. If you're okay with the latter, Mirror Lakes will suit you just fine. For about $25, here's what you will experience. Pro Shop - accommodating. Golf cart - gas, not electric, and noisy. No GPS. Driving range, pitching area, putting green - all basic, nothing special. Tees - nice variety of lengths, but all scruffy (it doesn't really matter). Fairways - run the gamut from quite d…

average Quality course, excellent value for Money. Friendly reception and bar. Ranger should push slow foursomes. We waited for mini-Golfers in front of us to take 15 strokes per hole!!!

Maybe other reviewers have a misunderstanding of what "good" means. Sand was the worst I've ever seen, fairways were almost worst I've ever seen and rough was basically just grass they could not afford to keep up. On one bright note the greens were mostly ok. Although they were small. Some where hard as rock and so e where sponges. Oh yeah and it was flooded everywhere. One more thing, there wasn't a scenic view anywhere, was hands down not with $5 to play.

We play at Mirror Lakes at least once a week during the winter season. This morning we had two tee times . Supposedly the first three tee times were 25-30 minutes late ( a group of 12golfers) Instead of starting them off on the back nine when they finally showed up, Mirror Lakes decided to just back everyone up! By 7:30 in the morning they were 30 minutes late sending golfers out. I don’t think that was fair to the other golfers who showed up on time and had allowed extra time for traffic. We were told this group plays every Friday morning. They know what traffic is like at that time of the mo…

I had been playing golf there for 16 years, but they will never get another dime from me. Erin the person at the counter whose job is supposed to be friendly, is one of the most rude, unwelcoming, and unfriendly people you can meet. The owner needs to take a good look at "management" as well. After incident transpired didnt took side of worker based solely on what she told him...over the phone mind you. Go to different course

Very nice course and friendly staff. I used to work here part time in course maintenance some 20 years ago. There were some areas that places werent mowed as short as they should be but I think this was due to wet areas from so much rain recently.

Scheduled tee time 3 times 1st time ,before season ,course ok good pace ,2nd time there was at least 30 golfers at the first tee and starter blamed golf now,and said he was quitting ,3rd time about 15 golfers at ist tee ,the pro(manager) said he might be able to get us out if we wait, went on to say during season they overbook up to 10 golfers per slot because they are the (cheapest) course around .and went on to say many of their golfers are from Miami and long distance,if you don't mind waiting 2hrs to tee of then have at it ,they are cheap,But they should let people now before they book!!!!!…

Good course for practice. Greens are fair condition. Still has many palm trees leaning over from Irma.

Not a manicured golf course, good value for money spent. Play was quick, very reasonable prices in 19th hole.
