In summary

Copperhead Golf Club receives mixed reviews, with some visitors appreciating the challenging layout and friendly staff, while others find the course conditions lacking. Positive feedback highlights the course's potential and enjoyable play, but recurring criticisms focus on poorly maintained greens, fairways, and bunkers, as well as occasional issues with customer service and course management. The course is noted for its affordability, though some feel it does not justify the current state of the facilities.

This course is awful. Crowned tee boxes, bald fairways, weeds and rocks in the bunkers and worst of all the greens are totally overtaken by weeds. There isn't a clear path to the hole on any green. To charge $65+ for this wreck is appalling. This was my first time playing and surely will be the last unless there is a total renovation.

I played golf with a friend. The course was challenging.the greens rolled true, were FAST, and provided great fun. The fairways had crab grass growing here and there, but it didn't affect our play. The cost was reasonable. The $$value was terrific. The staff was courteous and friendly. The pace was super.... I hate being wedged in play like a sardine. This wasn't the case at Copperhead. We play MUCH better at a relaxed pace. He and I would return again. Course layout gave us many distance options that we appreciated. I'm glad Copperhead is here in our area. BTW,I live on a golf course in Naples wor…

This course is horrible, how anyone could give this a five star review is beyond me. Start at the tee boxes. Spray painted, mostly sand and weeds. Fairways patches of weeds and dirt. Greens weeds. We play a lot of golf at a lot of courses, I wouldn't play this course again if it were free. I would rate it as one of the worst kept golf courses I have ever played.

This course has been taken over by new owners and is in very good shape now. Greens are true, play from the tips is very challenging, and even a good track played from the whites. Nicest course that we played in Lehigh Acres.

Let me preface this review by saying that we golf a lot anywhere and everywhere and for us to grade Copperhead out at 1 Star says allot about this establishment. The day should have been great but was farrrrrrr from it. I rarely if EVER venture this far inland but on my uncles insistence we came here. He obviously failed to read any of the recent reviews. On our arrival we were greeted by enthusiastic employees who courteously removed our bags from the vehicle and placed them on the cart. Upon entering the pro-shop WE greeted the person behind the counter who ,after some prodding , informed…

Ive lived on the opposite side of the canal for 2 yrs. So far patrons have been rude to my children playing in their yard constantly and with no other neighbors must be responsible for all the code enforcement visits to my home. I suggest that you do like the party connected with this establishment and build a wall! This is what makes it hard for regular Americans to succeed. My family and most americans do not care about your little balls!

Sad that this course is closing. It wasn't in the best of condition lately, but it was an affordable place to play in SW Fl. It had a lot of potential, just another victim of the times in the golf industry in SWFL. Sadly, SW FL is running out of public places to play. Snowbirds will feel this also. A sad loss......

Played here today and I will not return. The golf ranger was extremely rude, threatened to kick us out because we spent too much time on hole 4 and followed us up until hole 8 and completely ruined our experience at the course. One of our golf cars died at hole 10, and the "regulars" were very disrespectful ond on edge just trying to start problems. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Descent course but the greens need a lot of work and the bunkers were like hitting off concrete, for the money the course should be more well kept, probably will not return!!

Don't let the short length fool you. This course plays long for the yardage.
