In summary

Milham Park Municipal Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, offering a pleasant golfing experience in a convenient location. The course is noted for being accessible to both high-handicap and experienced golfers, with a layout that provides a fair challenge. However, some visitors have expressed frustration with pace of play and scheduling issues, citing instances of overcrowding and inconsistent management of tee times.

Had a great day on the course and was really impressed with the greens and the fairways and how they were manicured. This was the first time I played and I wasn't sure but for that course the care that the superintendent does really shows that they're trying to keep it in great shape.

A great golf course experience starts in the clubhouse—and that’s exactly where this course begins to shine. The staff is professional and welcoming. Every time I visit, I’m assisted by a polite and helpful team member. Once on the course, you’ll find beautifully manicured fairways that are both high-handicap friendly and still offer a challenge to scratch golfers. Is this the best golf course in Michigan? No—but for the price, it’s leagues above many other courses in the state.

Got my son an early Christmas/College graduation present here. Looked online, but really wanted to make sure he got some properly fitting boots. As it turns out, this store beat the online prices, so glad I went local. Excellent service, wide enough selection in skis, but they said Covid hit their stock of snowboards. They also carry hats, gloves, goggles and other downhill items. Check them out…certainly glad I did!

For a city course, it's about as nice as it gets. Some of the greens are troublesome due to to divot issues but overall, it's great for the price

Terrible time management. Left after pulling up on hole 8 after 2.5 hours with 8 people waiting to tee off. I’m not sure why they have a starter or ranger, seems like a waste of money. Course conditions were pretty good for a municipal course. If you like to take your time and have 20 minutes between shots, this is your course.

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing, though I hope it doesn’t reflect the business as a whole. The staff in the clubhouse were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, as an experienced and former competitive golfer, I was blown away by the way my group was treated by one staff member. We attempted to tee off as a group of six—something I recognize is outside the norm. It didn’t appear to be an issue when we checked in, but once on the course, a staff member approached us in a way that felt unnecessarily harsh and condescending. Ultimately it was extremely embarra…

Lovely and affordable, Milham Park is a great place to, if you’re a bad golfer like me, lose a ball or two…. It’s really a nice course.

Had an 11am tee time as a foursome on a Saturday. You know what you’re getting into at a public course, busy time of day. With that in mind we understand course etiquette. After the first hole we notice a 2some is waiting to finish their hole. We pull aside let them play through. The first ranger comes by is nice and personable. He says hey, it’s Saturday you have a foursome, you’ve got duos behind you, don’t rush, but keep a 4 hr pace, foursomes take precedent, don’t keep letting people play through. No biggie. We move on, hit the turn at 12:45. Stop no more than 5 minutes to refill the cool…

What a beautiful place right in the middle of a town. Not far from the park where you can drop the kids and wife off...or just the kids. The course is well maintained and the crew is always out fixing it up. Definitely worth stopping in and trying 9 but guarantee you'll do a full 18 by the end of it. Thanks for the great experience and check Groupons for deals.

Visited the ski shop. Matt got my son's skis tuned up and waxed in time for his race a couple of days later. We appreciate the great job, and fast turnaround!

Great time as usual but not sure why the ranger was following us and asking for us to speed up. Our foursome was done with 18 in 3hours and 45 minutes. Not sure how that is slow but it is somewhat annoying to be followed and pressured for nothing.

If golf is your thing you need to make this a definite stop. The people here are great. Matt and Joe in the pro shop are great. They'll greet you with a smile and will help you with ýour inquiries . Ron and Jake in maintenance are two of the best guys you could meet. Always willing to help and work hard to keep the place looking good.
