In summary

Angels Crossing Golf Club is frequently praised for its challenging and diverse layout, featuring large, undulating greens and scenic views, which many find to be well-maintained and enjoyable. The course offers a variety of hole designs that cater to both seasoned and less experienced golfers, with amenities like GPS-equipped golf carts and a welcoming staff enhancing the experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent green conditions, customer service issues, and the management of pace of play, which can detract from the overall enjoyment for some players.

This course is awesome 👌🏽 Greens are very large! Really an understatement how big these greens are, and fast!!! Everything was in great shape. I would and need to play this again! We'll worth the cost 👍🏽

Played in July 2025, was my 2nd time playing. Course is in good shape. There were some reviews in 2024 about diseased greens and fairways. That is not really the case this year. There was some minor disease on tee boxes, fairways and greens, but nothing as to what is mentioned in some reviews. By and large it was minimal and did not impact our experience at all. 18’s green had a big dead spot in a straight line - I assume that was a mower malfunction, but again, this was not common there this year. The layout and green complexes are incredible! You can score if you keep it in play. The par 3…

Course overall is slightly better shape than last year, but still disappointing. Although, according to 2 different members of management, course is in pristine shape. Customer service has not improved: They have installed gazebo near bag drop and have 2 employees staffed. However, they sit on the carts scrolling on their phones as you walk by them to get a cart. They allow 5, 6 and even 8-somes. Starter and clubhouse allows groups to start on 10, jumping groups finishing the front. Carts rarely have sand-filled bottles, even first thing in the morning. New cart paths installed near green of h…

What a great course! Played 9 holes with a 7:15pm tee time. It’s perfectly challenging and perfectly forgiving. Huge greens. It’s the most fun round of golf I’ve played in a while. I also hit a bag of balls. Great golf carts with nice technology. See it for yourself!

Hands down the best golf course in the Schoolcraft/Vicksburg/Portage area! The playability of the course is amazing! Wide fairways with grass and sand bunkers spotted strategically through out. Huge undulating greens are inviting and receptive, but super fast! Great driving range and practice green. Golf carts were awesome! Built in GPS with yardages to anywhere on the course. Highly recommend you play 9 or 18!

The course is an excellent shape. Had the privilege of playing with a long time member and part time employee and hearing the stories of the course added to the experience. Probably the best condition I’ve seen it in over the past 8 years of playing there.

Too bad theres no such thing as 0 stars. Was treated terribly today due to our "slow pace". Their carts wont let you anywhere behind the green, which are tough and very challenging, hills etc which is great for the game, not so great for an amputee. My brother in law is a below the knee amputee and with all the walking we had to do, we were falling behind. The ranger was harassing and kept telling us were falling behind and following us on the holes. This forced us to to rush our shots, not finish putts, and not enjoy the game. When the "outdoor manager" called us he was hinting that we should…

Surprised by some negative reviews here. This place is awesome. Beautiful course with wild, undulating greens. The layout is challenging but fair. Can't wait to go back and play it again.

It sucked. If your pace of play is slow (in their eyes) Ranger Rick will tell you to move faster. If you stink at golf do not golf here, they will send you to States golf course, I will never golf here at all!

Website states $34 for 9 holes senior riding rate. We were charged $36/pp which is really crazy for late October pricing. I called questioning and was told it’s dynamic pricing! There were 15 cars in the lot, course was practically empty except for a single behind us. It’s fine to charge a high price but not when the greens are in terrible condition.

Played this morning for the first time. very Friendly staff. Course was in quite good shape, scenic, and a truly fun stratetic play. Many subtle and not so subtle nods to classic golf architecture, which I loved. Comparable to some of the best golf/design/experience for the price nationally.

Overall the course is laid out well with beautiful fairways. Staff is great, friendly and welcoming. For the price tee boxes shouldn’t be uneven and greens are a complete disaster. They appear diseased and almost unplayable. The green layout and pin placement resemble a miniature golf course vs a premiere course. They should put windmills and moats on them with the nonsensical valleys and ridges prevalent on most greens.
